The market is scary right now. I am a recent high school graduate. Always wanted to get into software engineering but scared af about the job market later on.
Why get into student debt if there are no entry level jobs? At least you figured out how the job market is truly like before wasting time and money on something with no return on investment. Offshoring and AI combined will cause mass unemployment like never before.
pick a different degree, and learn software on your own
