I know you don't like traxxas, I'm not a fan boy either, but would be interested in a swap my 8s xmaxx (newest) that I've used once (and not broken) for your xrt. Then you can either destroy it or raffle it and still make your money back, as I don't have the following for raffles 😢

But ain’t the Xmaxx is like the most durable stock rc truck in the market but I know that it is expensive but my opinion you need to pay a little bit more cash to have something that is worth keeping
My first Rc car was an RC10-T. It was the truck version but not much different. Its not my favorite rc because newer cars are just simply better. However, It is number one on my list because it got me started in the hobby. If it wasnt for the RC10-T, I may not have discovered this addiction... I mean hobby. It was gifted to be me when i was 6.

Thanks for the losi drag car sale heads up! I ordered 5 summit losi drags and 4 of the losi pickup truck drag cars. When this sale ends these will sell for a lot more. Especially during the holidays. $149 is a liquidation sale. Just the electronics cost that much haha.

Yep I jumped on the Losi 22S yesterday when I saw how cheap the RTR was. It's a way better deal than the roller too because a body alone costs $40+
Ive been going back and forth lately on my next car/truck... I've only done Traxxas 1/10 and Losi minis so far. I saw the $199 Vendetta and my heart skipped... ordered RIGHT AWAY- thank you for helping me make up my mind!!!

Personally, I'm a fanboy of price point. ( how much can I get for X amount of $) and not necessarily name brand.
I just got ibto the rc drag racing and went for the losi 22s due to the sale price at being $200 usd, I was very impressed for the money. I ended up getting a couple more cause im designing a mid motor conversion for the losi. Yesterday I saw the pricing and its crazy... so I bought 2 more rollers

I learned that real quick running every week...........if I see any of my builds or a clone model on sale just grab it for the parts alone and sell the stuff I don't need
@@mankind8088 I know eh . and its not just normal wear and tear items like tires , bodies ect ....it never hurts to have some extra servos , motors and ESCs around for other projects too .

ordered both the vendetta in blue (i hope it arrives before october) and the camaro drag car. was going to get the roller, but by the time i put an esc and body on it (already have motor and servo) it would be more than the rtr! EDIT: also just ordered a roller to build up as well. 😄

I live one hour away from Horizon so I get pretty good shipping times. 😅 I don't think they allow pickup unfortunately.

I hate to say it, but you really should get an XMaxx. I have spent thousands of dollars fixing broken RC cars over the years. I told myself I would never buy an XMaxx. Then, someone offered me one at a crazy price, so I picked it up. ...The thing is the most durable and fun RC "anything" I have ever had. In 2 years I have only had to replace one shock and 2 spur gears. It always puts a smile on my face when I jump it 20ft in the air. I think you're missing out if you stay away from the XMaxx. I should have picked one up a lot sooner than I did. The durability astonishes me.
I only think the xmaxx is the best rc car ever made because out of the 20 rc cars ive had, the xmaxx is by far the best one. Its not even close 🤷♂🤷♂
My best buy was a 2001 Ofna Hyper 7 brand new in 2001 for £250 I still use it today 💪🏻 although it has now been highly modified and upgraded.
I’ve just ordered the the summit drag car and a ford 100 drag car (in the magnaflow) bought those cars including import for less than what I bought the infraction 3s from the UK on sale (sale price was £399) can’t wait to get them.
As far as your top 10 concerned, totally agree infraction 6s at the number 1 spot 👍

I agree, the XRT is a better car than the X-MAXX. It may be very durable, but i'd much rather go with the XRT or a Kraton 8s

After having owned 500+ RC's including 15 X-maxx's i can say 100% X-maxx is the best RC and no one has brainwashed me into thinking that. However it is a beast to carry around so i usually drive it at home while i prefer to take a 1/8 like the E-revo or kraton 6s to work with me or to the park.
Haha the Losi is 500$ where I live. The body alone costs 150$ here. 😆
The losi roller USD69, shipping to Sweden USD64, tax USD34, and then unknown amount of customs and extra fees... I will only mention the base price to my wife if she asks

pretty nice deals but all useless to someone like me who lives 5 miles from the nearest town, gravel road to my house.
I'm ordering the Arrma Infraction brushed this upcoming check, it's marked down from $350 to $150. Also picked up the Granite boost for 40-50 bucks off, not nearly as impressive of a deal but any Arrma platform for 200 or less is a steal IMO. The chassis is what you really want anyways, Spektrum electronics have proven to be quite bad and unreliable in my experience. Better to save some $$ by buying the boost and putting your own electronics in rather then getting the BLX, IMO.

You get the car, painted body and all electronics for only $150.00. I even got free shipping because I live in the USA and buy things from Amain all the time. Thoughts?

How do you manage your transmitters and receivers when you sell your cars? That's my first mod on every Rc. Then when I sell one I can't remember the stock setup. Lol. I have limited space, so when I buy one I have to let another go.
I zip tie the receiver to the transmitter and put them on a shelf.
I can get close enough just by the brand on them to get them back in the right car if I need.
I have given one or two away to friends in need though.

Hey man. I have a 2003 hilux 5L so no turbo. Slow as but an absolute monster off road. 2” lift 34s custom air box and snorkel etc blah blah… man hilux’s are sooo good. Anyway you should get bigger wheels and a lift kit 😂

Xmaxx is a beast, only RC I don't have to regularly repair and have drowned in lakes yet still runs right out of the water .. it's expensive but as of now is the best RC ever due to it's near indestructibility. It's one of the few RC's I've been able to send high inot the sky and get very little damage when it returns to the earth...
Same. I'm not sure why Tomley doesn't like them. It's damn near indestructible. Obviously Kev destroys them regularly but how many people are launching them 25 feet in the air off of skate park ramps? My Xmaxx is the only RC car I don't worry about crashing because a crash almost never results in a repair, and if you don't worry about breaking it you can have a lot more fun with it.
@@Chris-xo2rq the only damage I have on mine is from the skatepark but I'm regularly sending mine full throttle into vertical jumps that reach up to 60 feet high. Twice I've lawn darted and now the front bulkhead is slightly bent (not enough to replace) and the bumper is literally held together with silicone tape....i haven't even replaced the hubs with the larger bearing ones even though I bought them thinking it'd be a problem but I haven't had the bearings self destruct...yet. mine is still stock except for the tape and tires. Got belted tires and never looked back.
@@jacobrjager Interesting I heard the belted tires are too heavy for it so I stuck with stock but they keep separating. What tires did you get, I'll need to replace them soon and would like to try yours.
@@Chris-xo2rq I have the Duratrax Bandito tires for the skate park and the hatchets for dirt. They are a bit heavier but not enough to be a real problem. The main issue is the expense but they have lasted so much longer than the stock ones so far (a year of almost daily use with the Bandito tires). Worth the expense if you can find them.
I had to grab the Vendetta at that price. I'm in the UK and this is a proper bargain.

Just when I thought I didn't need any more RC cars..They Drag(ahem..geddit?) me back in, Just had to get that Camaro at that price,was a tough call between that and the F100 in yellow,but the camaro has rearlights,and is well,a Camaro.I think i can find at least one stretch of smooth tarmac 132ft long, cos I have sigularly failed to find anywhere suitable for speed runs with the 917.
