I agree 100% with you on color, my heart wanted the blue Vendetta but my head said green. My head won & i got green, at least my weary old eyes have more chance seeing the car better lol.
It’s a good lesson with the antenna. Most people I think don’t understand that part at all. And the more vertical it is, the better reception it’ll get. The Vendetta really does seem like an amazing speed run starter car. Can’t beat that price!

Your video really explains and shows what to do very well. Did what you show and even being a newbie had no problems at all. Can you explain why you only adjusted the rear shocks and not the front? And is this done to raise the chassis or to give it a firmer ride, or both?
Raise the back to keep the rc from backflips at 100mph also stiffer rear suspension as the wing will push it down causing it to flip if it’s to soft so I max out the rear and leave the front soft to push into the assfault 👍👍💯

I watched your speed run testing video after this upgrade and you had some oil coming from rear diff housing. Did it end up being the diff or was it the problem you found in the wobbling tires video you made about the vibration of the tires?

i just got my go pro 7 Black Today so Now i can start to unbox some kits as i have a Vandetta in green and also a Felony in black i have been wanting to rip for ages but also wanted to video tape it all so now i can just waiting for the weather to be nice to get out there and run me some RC i think i will too be raising the lid on the Vandetta as i don't wanna be rubbing the body on the tire at high speeds as could potentially cause a crash and break apart the tires , i would like to be able to get a bit of fun usage out of it before i start throwing in cash as i know i will need to at some point but prevention of where and when is possible is best so huge thanks for this video as i think this is the second or third watch getting more itchy to start this speed run thing that im really looking forward to with some higher end cars as of far i have just been using the WLtoys and HSP still getting up to 50 MPH(hsp) and for me thats fast, atm so any insight and handy tips ill take onboard for sure thanks Earl M for these awesome Video's its really appreciated 🙂
I have 2 vendettas, I plan on trying to upgrade one of them. I might just get the 120 amp esc because I don’t plan on trying to run it on anything higher than 4s
A 6s battery on that motor (98,000rpm on a full battery) is almost twice the motors max rpm of 50,000. How many speed runs before that motor burns out?
So help me understand, maybe I missed something...How is 1 part changing out a pinion AND an ESC? That ESC is a big cost upgrade, little different than throwing a 5 dollar pinion at it and going 100+mph no? I like what you did here otherwise, some good tips in the video. Working on a 75mph infraction mega right now. Sticking with nothing but cheap stuff off AliExpress.
Pinion comes with the rc only have to buy one part and the esc is a take off unit as most have them from the infractions or any of arrma 6s line Or Jenny rc the cost is not bad to go 100mph for so little money 💰
I just put speed pinion on mine. Can’t get clip on because the screws hit the back of the pinion . No idea how you got yours to work . Mine will not bottom out without hitting motor screws.
It’s a used take off part plus Jenny rc for the whole motor and esc combo is $130.00 or just buy the esc from them on eBay for $100.00 if you didn’t remove one from your other arrma 6s line like I did on my felony and infractions or 6s Kraton I had many laying around and everything on the rc is box stock including the speed gears included in the box with the speed wing ?

Yes most motors don’t car about power just need to keep an eye on temps it’s not like an esc that’s says 6s rated most motor are build to handle more power 👍👍
I show the batteries used in the series on my playlist as I’m not sure where you are in the series but the complete build and running in every stage so ppl can easily copy it is in my playlist 👌
The screw head still doesn’t fit in the small space but as an air frame power plant mechanic we are taught never to have a nut on top incase it falls off the screw will hold it in place 🤷🏻♂️

I had wheelie issues because it’s not the most aerodynamic body. That wing acting as a splitter keeps me plants but I can’t get pass 82 mph. Think if I get the hot racing motor mount and throw in that 26t I should get closer to that 100mph mark?

I was at Ace yesterday & noticed they have spray cans of undercoating and spray-on bed liner. Was wondering if these might be good for reinforcing/stabilizing those weak areas of the body?

Only the the unshielded part of the wire is for reception. Lengthening the shielded part of the antenna does nothing really.

RED LOCKTITE ???? on that little screw ? Wouldn't blue be enough ?

Traxxas battery for the xmaxx normally to long but you can remove the stop on the vendetta to make it fit

Why not just run a short screw and have the nut facing up on the wing.

Why put the the yellow wire to the orange and vice versa?
The 6s esc spin the other way around so two wires need to be flipped 👍👍

The spur gear need to be a 50t the VORTEKS spur is to big to get 100 mph I show it in the infraction mega build 👍👍
