Well uh, I guess I'm not a Spider-Man fan cause I love the suit >.> (Minus the hair sticking out. I can't defend that.) I think it's cause of the color variations, they honestly make it more enjoyable to use for me.

The white & green neon look of the Superior suit is a reference to the Spider-Man inspired suit Doc Ock wore when he sided with Hydra-brainwashed Cap in Secret Empire.

I think he also called himself the Superior Octopus and I think he also used it against Peter during that arc where Parker Industries collapsed because of Otto.
What I hate about the new Miles suit, is that New York is literally being overtaken by aliens and it doesn't occur to Miles that maybe he should wait until after the symbiote invasion has been sorted out before updating his costume for no reason.
A fact that Jameson criticizes Peter for when he gets the Anti-Venom suit. We know it isn't valid because that's more than just a costume change for the lols, it's a powerup he didn't ask for, but needed. Yet here Miles is, doing exactly what Jameson thought Peter was doing. And this time, it is a valid ciriticism.
The issue with the Evolved Suit as well is that it just comes out of nowhere. He just shows up with the suit and it doesn't really feel like Miles' suit. Compare that to his suit in his spin off game where we saw him develop it and the design to be more distinct and his own take on being Spider-Man. Even the Advanced Suit for Peter is very tied to his story due to it being a suggested upgrade from Otto before he began to go crazy and that's not counting the Anti-Ock and Anti-Venom suits, which are still very tied to Peter. Plus, as you said, the design is way too busy.
That combined with what I've heard that it was a suit made because Adidas wanted to collab to promote the shoes just makes the suit feel cheap to make it a main story suit and essentially force you to use it for the last battle.
Had they covered the hair, make it fully black with white webbing and the blue to be more darker/have an electric style to the blue, either put the hood up or reduce it and remove the sneakers, then it would be a pretty good suit. Along with that but give it story significance or just make it an unlockable.
Yeah i never got why people didnt like the insomniac black suit....like they took heavy inspiration from the classic black suit but added alien/symbiote textures around the legs and arms which are amazing for this game. Just enhances the suit further...
The scarlet III suit is a 10/10 its perfect my favorite suit and i immediately unllocked it and wore it for my entire playthrough. Just love the hooded look and colors

The suit looks awesome in my opinion. I prefer the classic black suit it being my favourite in the game but I appreciate how Insomniac reinvented the suit while still giving the option to use the classic comic black suit along with the snazzy Ultimate variant and the 90s Animated Series Venom styled one. The symbiote suit in that show is the blue and black highlights design as it was drawn in Secret Wars and the comics up until the Back In Black storyline which released around the time of Spider-Man 3 and was my second Spider-Man comic.
I like how in this game the symbiote suits looks like a symbiote, most of the time we see the black suits it just looks like black clothing instead of looking like a living being meanwhile in this game it actually looks like a separate living thing i think the main reason for it looking like its actually a symbiote is because they're all kinds wet and slimey looking

If/when a DLC comes out for this game, I hope they'll add the suit from Spider-Man: Unlimited. The web cape looks really cool.
They might add it but it's not gonna have a cape because they just won't bother

God I love the Superior Spidey suit, that was my symbiote suit for my play through lmao.
In terms of my thoughts on the suit selection this time well we definitely did not need literally every single Tom holland suit in existence I feel since suits like the amazing bagman or the white 2099 suit are just gone this time (this one is a huge L imo). All of the new suits suffer from overly-complicated designs with the evolved suit being the poster boy for this thought process along with them addidas shoes which will never not make me laugh. Finally I kinda hoped for a symbiote version of all of Peter's suits. Now everyone can be bully Maguire
The civil war suit also has tiny wings that pop out of the back instead of the web wings.
That detail puts the suit way higher up in the ranking. Love Sam Wilson especially when he’s Captain America so that detail was always really cool.
You know, I don't understand why people say they overused the MCU Iron Spider suit. He doesn't wear it in Homecoming, he wears it in Infinity War because he needs to breathe in space, he wears it in Endgame because it's the suit he was dusted in and he doesn't have time to change. He wears it at the start of Far From Home (which makes sense, why wouldn't you wear your most powerful suit), but he leaves it when he goes to Europe for the Homecoming suit after about 15 minutes of the movie and doesn't wear it again for the rest of it. Then he wears it in NWH only after the FFH suit is ruined by the paint. Now, I'm not gonna argue when you say the paint scene only exists so he'll use the black and gold suit and sell toys because that's true. But you have to admit that it would have been a missed opportunity to not have Peter face Doc Ock in the suit that also gives him 4 spider arms.
So, to summarize, he doesn't wear the suit in Homecoming, he wears it for IW, he wears it for the one battle he has in Endgame, he stops using it shortly into FFH and wears it for one scene in NWH. That doesn't feel like an overuse to me, but maybe that's just me.

I think the green advanced suit is a reference to the first game, in the environmental side missions for Harry, he says "I should make a green suit for Earth Day"
I’m in love with the white Mysterio suit variant, it’s literally the white ranger from the shoulders to costume design overall, really solid tribute to JDF/Tommy Oliver whether intentional or not

Haven’t even seen it in action yet, but Tom Hollands new red and blue Spidey suit at the end of NWH took Andrews TASM2 suit for me, i think it’s literally the perfect spiderman suit.
It's so unfortunate that we get it at the end with no NG+. I want to see the TASM 2 and R&B suits in cutscenes so badly, especially the ones towards the beginning
Yep that was my go to suit as soon as it was unlocked, it’s gorgeous & fits the game. I know everyone’s hating on the new miles suit but I actually really liked it with the darker colour scheme!

The Superior Suit, the Into the Spider-Verse Noir Suit, and both Iron Spider suits for Peter will change the Spider Arms the you wear one of those suits, and his Secret Wars: Civil War Suit will change the Web Wings when you wear it.
the anti-ock suit is amazing to me. It combines the Advanced suit with Sam Rami's suit and makes it solid with a glowing emblem

I wear the Kumo suit! I love the ornate, almost wood-carved yokai look it has and I wore that suit for a third of the game
I liked Miles new suit. If only the colour variants were just black and Red it would have a lot better

@@burlong01 The other variants are okay but his new suit is a combination of features other suit doesn't have and it makes it quite uncanny.
1. For starters, his hair is entirely exposed compared to other full-on Spiderman suits. If it isn't all covered, it's usually not just the head but some parts of the hands/legs that are also exposed.
2. The other is that it has a hood but isn't raised up or part of a jacket. It just dangles there without complimenting the suit.
3. The sky-blue streaks look like slime instead of lightning so it is off-putting.
4. Lastly is the shoes which are a thing of their own instead of complementing the suit itself. The white color pops up too much so it would have been better for it to be black. Black, red, and blue are the primary colors of the suit but it's sponsored by Adidas so it needs to be noticeable even to its detriment, I guess.
The shoes. It’s the shoes that ruined it. A skin tight suit with sport shoes will never work it’s too distracting lol. Like everything about the suit is fine but the shoes ruined it lol

When I get this game eventually, I am definitely using the matching Kraven suits so I can be like "Which Spider-Man is here this time? Tech and tendrils or shock therapy? Time to find out!"
The Forever Suit is just a nod to Chadwick Boseman which I absolutely love.
The Superior Suit with the neon green and white is easily on my top 10 favorite suits. And I love how it changes his spider legs as well.
Fun fact: the inverse suit is actually (probably) a refrence to a character from like a comic back in the day with a character called "web man" basically spider man but everything is opposite

I like the anti-venom suit, but I do wish surge mode would change depending on the suit, like if you used one of the other black symbiote suits it would go back to making the surge powers black as well, like the black spikes and tendrils
Red specter suit is my absolute favorite miles suit, I don’t know exactly why but I love it so much
I hope Insomniac can make premium skins for different suits as DLC later on, the layout could be the same as the suit shades mechanic, but with different suits instead, similar to DLC outfits for fighting games. Like imagine a premium skin for 2099 which is the ANAD variant for example.

For me I almost can’t wear any other suits on Miles besides the black TRACK suit, What’s up Danger, Spider-Verse suits, and The End. Like, a lot of the other ones are good but wearing the TRACK at the beginning and The End near the end show the most growth for me personally
The New Blue suit is a suit from the Empyre storyline which was about weird plant people invading Earth which ended in Hulking and Wiccan (Young Avengers Characters) getting married. The Fantastic Four were away in space and they reunited the New Fantastic Four kind of. Ghost Rider and Hulk were just holograms. Anyway they reunited Spider-Man and Wolverine along with Valeria and Johnathan (Reed and Sues kids) to defend New York while they were gone.
The Spider Punk suit had a Deadpool pin on the jacket in the comics. Interesting fact I think. I get why they changed it for the game though.
The Scarlet 3 suit was worn by Ben Reilly during what was supposed to be a relaunch of the character that just got weirder and weirder as it went along eventually just becoming a Kaine book with Ben Reilly until Ben became the main character in the last few issues. The suit was hated on when it was in the comics and only lasted 2 issues before it was replaced with the classic Scarlet Spider suit. The main reason people didn’t like it was because you could see his mouth through the mask.
The purple variant of the classic black suit is a reference to the version of the suit from the Ultimate Spider-Man run in the early 2000s. It was supposed to be black but was drawn as purple with black highlights. Absolutely love this inclusion and once I unlocked it I never switched out of it. Ultimate Spider-Man is one of the best comics ever and I loved that Insomniac acknowledged the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.
The black variant of the Iron Spider suit is a reference to when Aaron Davis the second Prowler bought a black version of the Iron Spider suit Peter wore in Civil War. Aaron formed a new version of the Sinister Six to mess with Miles and Miles had to get the help of the Champions to take them down. It was the end of Bendis run on Miles and Bendis was Miles co creator.
The black variant of the 2099 suit is a reference to how in the original comic series for Spider-Man 2099 the suit is mentioned to be black by a few characters. The suit was drawn as blue though with black highlights because that’s how most black suits were drawn back then. The symbiote suit, Venom and Nightwing are some other examples. Also I know how much you love Nightwing and that’s awesome because I love him too.
I hope me doing this isn’t annoying but I just wanted to inform you about the comic origins of some suits. Someone in the comments already did it for Web Man so I don’t need to do that but I hope if you read this that you learn something new and by the way I love your videos. If I remember the comic origins of any other non obvious suits I’ll write it in.

1. Classic Black Suit - words can not describe how beautiful this is, amazing, spectacular, sensational, every other suit is trash compared to this, except the classic suit, but that’s still no wear near this
2. Peter classic suit - Amazing, the main suit I wear all others pale in comparison

On ps4 the menu was super bright which made all the suits look a bit off compared to gameplay and cutscenes. Advanced suit 2 is more hot red and the blue is not faded which we all appreciate

I find myself using the symbiote color 2099 suits for Peter and the prowler color family business suit for miles. Really digging those ones in particular right now
I beat all the mysteriums in a row because I wanted to get them out of the way, not only was I gifted a great ending mission, but a suit whose white variation is basically Tommy Oliver's White Ranger suit. I don't know if it's an intentional tribute to Jason David Frank, but I used this suit exclusively until I got the Wolverine suit.
I never really settled on a peter suit but I bought the deluxe for the Tokusatsu suit. Early on miles had the helmet in his hands as he talked to his mom and he looked like a power ranger. Wish it had other colors though because eventually the white Mysterio suit made me feel like the white ranger and I wore that till the end.
The suit Miles’ is wearing underneath the hoody in the bodega cat suit. I want that suit as its own suit.
Two Pete suits i definitely want back are Scarket Spider 2 Kaine, and Last Stand

The Miles Morales Adidas costume reminds me a little of the 1990’s Ricochet costume without the jacket

The Dark Ages suits is (obviously) comic accurate.
In it, Miles bonded to Venom (and of course, he had a hood) then after a while Carnage bonded to them. Which fucked up Miles mind a bit. After the remaining heroes freed Miles, his mind for better.

The only reason the Evolved Suit exists is much like the reason the Black And Gold Suit exists. That being it was just for marketing, Insomniac had Adidas has their sponsor for this game so they made this suit to go with the obvious Adidas-like shoes. They pretty much were just promoting Adidas to the fandom.
I love the hair part of Miles new suit because it makes more sense for our hair because I know that mask had his hair dry as hell.

Pretty sure that when you have into the spiderverse suits and it changes the frame rate, it automatically turns off when you change suits
I always assumed that part of the reason the black and gold suit exists was so that when Sandman first saw Tom Holland Spider-Man, he thought it was Andrew in the Black Suit, especially since it was night time when he first saw him and he could see all the details. That being said, toys are the real reason because Disney makes all the toy profits and not Sony, but still.
The white Mysterio suit reminds me of the first white ranger suit
The red and black 2099 is technically the correct suit version as in the original comics it’s meant to be red and black but they shaded the black with blue like they do with venom and people thought it was blue so by the time of shattered dimensions it was made blue

The third variant of the Scarlet Spider suit the purple and green one is an interpretation of Ben Reilly’s Chasm suit that he wears at the end of the Beyond arc. He starts losing his memories and betrays the Beyond Corporation a shady company that sponsors Ben to be their Spider-Man and they free Bens convict girlfriend Janine to convince him to join. It’s not a great story at all and I’m not a Ben Reilly fanboy to be honest I prefer Kaine much more but I got the reference and I like feeling smart.
The last variant of the Superior suit is a reference to the Superior Octopus suit which Otto used when he got a new clone body that was a combination of his body and Peters during the Clone Conspiracy arc. He joined Hydra to tear down Parker Industries because he made it in Peters body. He later moved to San Francisco under the alias of Elliot Tolliver and used it a bit before the Spider-Geddon arc. It was a neat design and I like the stories it’s in.
The Arachknight suit was created during the Infinity Warps storyline where Gamora got the Infinity Stones and combined loads of different heroes together. Spider-Man was combined with Moon Knight. I like the design and the storyline as I was reading the Guardians Of The Galaxy run at the time and thought it was a neat concept. There were combinations between Doctor Strange and Captain America, Wolverine and Emma Frost which was pretty fun along with Iron Man and Thor.
The black and gold suit physically doesn’t make any sense either. Why are the eyes inverted? If the suit is basically the upgraded suit turned inside out, that would mean the eyes would still be poking into him.

Wasn’t the red and blue on the black suit a nod to like the 90s Spider-Man series because we saw it when Venom went to Eddie he had red and blue with him
