Immanuel is a title (which means God is with us). Immanuel is not a name. Angel Gabriel said he (Jesus) shall be called Jesus because He shall save the world from their sins.
The Bible so tells us that there is no other name given among men whereby we may be saved. If you dismiss the name of Jesus, it means you contradict scriptures.
So although Immanuel is also a name God is called by, it is just one of His numerous names but all of those names are an expression of His person.
Folks, the Word is not the Bible. The Word is the Messiah. Even the Bible says the Word is the Messiah. Reading the bible will not save you. Having a relationship with the Messiah will save you. Peace
Your statement oversimplifies the relationship between the Word, the Bible, and the Messiah. While John 1 verse 1 indeed refers to Jesus as the Word, the term "Word" is used throughout Scripture to refer to God's written revelation as well.
For instance, Psalm 119 verse 105 states, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." The Bible itself emphasizes its own importance in 2 Timothy 3 verse 16-17: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
Jesus Himself used Scripture extensively (Matthew 4 verses 4, 7, 10), showing its importance. Therefore, it's not accurate to dismiss the Bible's role in salvation and spiritual growth. Both the written Word (Scripture) and the living Word (Christ) are integral to a believer's faith journey.
Furthermore, Romans 10 verse 17 links faith to hearing the Word: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." While a relationship with Christ is crucial, as John 3 verse 16 emphasizes, the Bible plays a vital role in understanding and developing that relationship.
