Dude, it’s “easy” until you have to play it after the rest of the solo. Keeping time correct and making sure you hit all the notes to make it sound correct is the not easy. Also it’s played on the b string

Taping is easy to learn but uard to master but once you master it this part of the solo os the easiest part of it
It may not be the hardest part of the piece , but what makes it great was, his mastery of the technique. He takes it so much further than this.

B string....most screw up the tremolo picking part as well and try to do it all on the high E when it's actually the E and B

I never play the tapping part, since I use Eruption as warmup I use tapping licks from other songs like One or Beat It
The reason why it’s the easiest is because this was originally his warmup that was once accidentally recorded.

It's not really a tapping motion more of a flick the string backwards or forwards, depends on what feels more comfortable for you, hope that helps
