Whitney has vocals that range from Alto-2 and Falsetto between 5-6! I saw that on a video after she crossed over. Written by Ashford and Simpson for Chaka Kahn sang this years before Whitney. I think Whitney loved to uplift other black artists and honor those who came before her. A little fun fact. She paid for the college tuition for one of the child dancers. That was not revealed until after her death. BTW one of my favorite Whitney songs
