Great video Luke. As you were listing off 80s shows you'd love to see in future sets, my first thought was Street Hawk too. I remember having a small toy of it as a kid, where a small bike launched from a helmet replica. Memory unlocked 😊 Great to see you back regularly again mate.

Aside from some small details, Playmobile don't miss with these nostalgic sets, they really capture the spirit of the characters despite the constraints of the generic figure form. I reckon a Playmobile Bill and Ted set with the Phonebooth and the historical figures would be sweet! A really fun watch as always Luke!

Very generous of Craig! Love the Ferrari... Magum PI is a classic. I'd like to see a Miami Vice Testarossa if they haven't done that already!! It's surprising how many of these vehicles were made as toys back in the day - the 308, Street Hawk etc were all released but so hard to find and expensive now!!

But street hawk is a show I loved as a kid, even though only short lived, trying to get anything from its toy line is not easy. Awesome act of kindness from Craig and an excellent review video for the Playmobil Magnum PI set, from our returning legend Luke. Valid fault-finding from Luke, that doesn't actually distract from the amazing quality of this Playmobil set. I just wish Higgin's hair was more accurate to actor John Hillerman and they had included Zeus and Apollo, instead of that bloody parrot?! :)

I am genuinely impressed with the quality of that Ferrari as well. I only know Playmobil for being a slightly more "toyish" line with simplicity built in, but that car breaks all expectations. And I think if I had to have a Playmobil set for something from the 80's, I definitely go with "CHiPs!" A couple motorcycles, one a car and a few figures. That's be awesome! Congratulations Luke and that was very generous! Great overview! I literally got mine yesterday as a birthday gift! It really is magnificent. I have a 1/18 Hot Wheels Magnum Ferrari I got years ago. But it’s actually too nice, I never pick it up and interact with it. This is why I love the Playmobil series of entertainment vehicles. The sculpts are perfect! I have the Ecto-1, Ecto-1a (and firehouse) James Bond’s DB5, the BTTF Delorean and this Ferrari. I highly recommend them. They display well with my 3.75in collection perfectly

Amazing gift from Craig, and a really nice representation of the vehicle. Love the inclusion of the palm trees! I don't think I feel the need to get this because I didn't watch the show and so have no nostalgic connection to the show. I do think that this is a very nice set though! Agree about the lack of high gloss finish, thats what put me off the Knight Rider set. Thanks for sharing Luke! 👍🐵
Hey monkeyboy, yeah I mean it’s a great set but obviously has to appeal to you for whatever reason, and if it doesn’t then the desire to purchase just won’t be there. I understand your issue with the knight rider set, however I still think you’d enjoy if it was in front of you once the red light activates and KITT kicks in to action. A General Lee would be amazing, I'd buy that so fast! They could do one and let people get a third party flag for the roof, but I agree it's unlikely. Real shame that. A Fall Guy truck is a good shout too.

I literally bought this set last week. Being a lifelong Magnum fan since childhood I had held off on this... but this set is way to good to ignore. I managed to find a PM siged Colt 1911 for Magnum but need to source a suitable canon for Higgins.
Nice, I've been tempted but this set multiple times, but I just don't have any space for it. I used to love the Magnum as a kid. I think they should also make TC's helicopter. An Airwolf would be mind blowing!
