they look more like rudd than roach. I often fish rudd on the fly at a local lake - they're good sport on light gear

Really nice stretch to be fair, lots of tench in it. I know there a good few jack Pike down there, does make you wonder if there are some monster Pike down in the basins.

My biggest pike from that canal is 23lb
