Thanks so much for the awesome reaction to our recording, my musical brother! 😃 Firstly, I'd like to correct my typo on the drummer's name - it's supposed to be YOANN - he's from Quebec, and he's a great drummer who I've had the honor to record with on many of my videos.
Someone like yourself who plays multiple instruments, engineers their own recordings and has an astute musical ear can really appreciate what truly goes into these types of projects. This song and production is my favorite thus far by Tori and her band. So professional and really so perfect! I grew up in the '70s and was a big fan of the carpenter's back then. That's all they ever played on the radio. Although Tori cannot replace Karen Carpenter, she is absolutely the best I have seen in my lifetime in terms of getting very close to Karen and her sound. With my eyes shut, it would take a little bit for me to listen and determine the difference. Thanks again for your comments and education. Peace out.

Hey there, I was 27 when Karen died in 82. I was devastated. That voice in that tiny frame! How? She was one of a kind. Tori does her own thing and has released a single. I gave up a decade or so ago thinking I'd hear a voice like Karens again. I gave up too soon.
