This must be the most vesatile bike Harley has brought out. I know they had a similiar machine a while ago which didn't sell well for some reason or another. Bags on/off, screen on/off and the simplistic tech spec makes it very appealing. Reminds me of the versatility of a good ute! LOL!! Put a larger screen on and you can munch the miles comfortably whilst carrying enough stuff for the trip. I really like it a lot and I have never owned a Harley. Maybe this bike might change my mind. Great review brother as usual brother, thank you.
Andrew well said. I put 14,000 miles on my SG in the first 12 months and am still very happy with it. I put the tall tinted Gustafsson windshield on the factory fairing and munched the miles as you said. From Ohio rode it to Florida bike week, Key West, and Sturgis. Added the 1.75” shock extension and it gave me better cornering clearance as it wasn’t hard to drag a boot.
Did the stage 3 at bike purchases with Harley extreme breather, S&S EPA approved 2-1 and Harley tuner at the purchase dealership to retain the full 24 month unlimited mileage warranty and get 20 percent off on all of it. This made the upgrade pricing very competitive and the ability to add it to competitive bike financing with loss gap insurance so that if it gets stolen or totaled it pays it all off.
The stage 3 cam retains low & mid range and add top end pull for a nice riding powerband. Tuned at the dealership it made 116 HP which is strong for a moderate setup.
BTW The reviewer gave good review. I thought he was spot on. I to would definitely recommend the Sport Glide.
The Dyna Switchback.
I had one and it did NOTHING well.
I'm 6'3" and I've been riding since 1977.
And this bike still fits me
I think people didn’t know what to make of this bike at the 2018 re-introduction, but HD knocked it out of the park with this bike. It’s such a great blend of sporty bagger and around town cruiser. The looks, the seat height, the factory Michelin tires, storage, cruise/abs, 2 into 1 exhaust, comfy seat... all make this bike a no-brainer!
Bought a 2019 Sport Glide in vivid black and absolutely love it. 20,000 miles later and four cross country trips and zero issues. Harley nailed it with this one
You using the stock fairing on it? If so I assume you are happy with it on cross country trips?
@@e4gail yes I'm still using the stock fairing. I love the wind and haven't changed it yet. I'm open to ideas but 95% of my yearly riding is all city.
I feel this is the best value of any softail. Standard ABS and Cruise is just over $1000 right there! I literally just did a video on this!
Great review man
MotoRobb I’m with ya Robb, great features all around.
Great review. Got my self one in January absolutely love everything about it.cheers from Melbourne 🇦🇺 .
Saying it's a perfect bike for indecisive riders is why I like this bike. It's a perfect "do all" kind of bike.
Very Nice Bike i Call it a Hybrid Because it is So Versatile(With Bags Off Looks Great) Bought My Softail Slim Last Month and Love it But These Was in Top 3 For Sure.....Ryda Love That Color Everybody Can See You on Road LOL.
Yes,thats my bike, love the orange . Had like at one on Saturday,Lookin for a test ride. love your reviews .Thank you From New Zealand
Love my Sport Glide! it is a better bike to ride than I had anticipated or hoped for. very well balanced, easily feels 200lb lighter than it actually is. Lots of power for me at present in stock condition. But will plan on on doing a stage one in the spring next year for sure and maybe a stage two eventually. Highly recommend the SG
I've owned many motorcycles of varying makes and styles. This one has a way of making me WANT to ride! Probably the best all around bike I've owned. 😎👍
I wish they kept making it
Thank you! This review is very helpful.
Glad I could help
Thank you, your video was spot on for me, being a novice, brand new rider.
Thank you.
Logged in a bit over 18k in a year time, this bike is hands down a blast to ride. A few changes based on prefrence may be needed, but that comes with any bike really.
Thank you for the great reviews, they always put a smile on my face. Plus they are tremendously informative, so I can walk in the dealership with clear thoughts of where to start looking.
Question: can the cap on the fuel tank be replaced for a piece that opens with a key? I am a teacher and sometimes students with bad grades... know very well how to screw a bike.
Great review Sir! I bought the 1st SG that came into my dealership. I rode a Super Glide Custom for 10+ years & swore I’d never leave my Dyna. WRONG! The SG blew me away! IMO, the SG is the best bike Harley makes.
This is my actual bike 😉 that I bought from Independence H-D-currently have 48k miles on it. Great review!
Nice. I think I remember you getting it.
Great video and a beautiful part of the world you live in BTW.
Thanks
Luv these New videos and test Rides. Amazing content! 🤟 Did you do one on the Low Rider S yet???
Tanker-p Man not yet
I just recorded the low rider s video. As long as the audio worked on the GoPro it will be up Sunday. Be sure to share the content as I try to grow my channel so I can bring even more content.
Well, that's great news 👍 I'll be looking forward to it....thanks Ryder 🥃
I have the 2018 model.I’m a new rider and absolutely love it
Let me ride it. Lol. J/K Ride safe.
Nice video,,,,very real,,not filled with other crap,,,I have a Sport Glide as well,,,
I love my 21 !
Hey Infinit Ryda!! Thanks for another great video. Quick question: You're on a hypothetical 500 mile ride, and you absolutely have to choose between a SportGlide and a Softail Slim outfitted with a windscreen and bags. Which would you choose? Why? Thanks!!
The Sport Glide with a taller windscreen.
Great bike! 🏁👍
Yes it is.
Can chuck it around thru the bends in the UK so easily and I'm not the most skilful rider by any means.
I love the naked look of this bike and I am short and I am a new rider... How it’s everyday handling inside the city with this bike ? I mean completely naked, take out bags and front...
(Please say it’s good cause I am in love with the naked look of this bike and I am thinking about spending all my money on it)
What is a good Harley-Davidson model for a normal size man. 6'3 210lbs
What will be your riding style
@@theinfinitryda, cruiser style mostly, but I am not the biggest fan of baggers.
Sport Glide. I'm 6'4 /245 lbs and fits me perfectly.
Would this bike handle a pillion passenger on a full day of riding?
stuart malins yeah it will
It’s nice but damn I hate the wheels
