I always loved the dynamic between Trevor and Barrie. They were always my favorites to watch. I just *wish* we had a Trevor v Barrie final

He would have set her straight
Gordon is pretty sympathetic to people when it comes to them struggling and crying on Masterchef, especially towards children and women. He's harsh, but he's not cold-blooded.

@@MatthewTheUntitled Gordon is firm but fair, he only lashes out on incompetent chefs with high positions. And he is quite sympathetic and empathetic to home cooks, who don't have such positions or experience.

Unless their stoves were weaker that's too long by 3 minutes. Sounded like they were under not over though.

I love how Mai is trying to control Thea and dodging what she wants to do but then she ends up going home and Thea’s big chilling
It's called being a leader and taking responsibility. On top of that, Mai still did most of the work, including the main components of the dish.
I watched this again and try to imagine how Thea get to finals by her theatrical skills

This s why Mai wasn’t in the finale she just does too much and too demanding like really do it yourself then she is treating Thea like her cooking maid it’s a team effort not just Thea she did like everything while Mai just keeps cutting truffles like really
It wasn’t just that! In the final pressure test of the season, the judges found som aluminum in Mai’s dessert! That’s a big no-no!
