You are going to have a stitch fill January for sure Dena.Beautiful WIPs. My Tucker love chewing the squeakers out of toys Also he never plays with toys my little Yorkie Baxter does. He has one toy that he refuses to let Tucker touch that has a squeaker.If Tucker gets it little Baxter takes it away from him.😆 They think it is their mission to seek and destroy that squeaker.Happy new Year and Happy Stitching
Linda, it is so funny that your Tucker also destroys the toys! Cocoa left one of her Christmas toys in tact to play with. Isn't that strange that she would destroy two (took one hour each) and then she is playing with the third one. Oh well, at least she kept one to enjoy longer. LOL. I think it is precious that Baxter protects the toy from Tucker. Sounds like they bring you a lot of joy! We love our fur babies. Dena

Cathleen, busy is the word for sure. I started four new starts on January 1st! Started Spring Quaker for WIPGO, started a Coastal Ornament for BRINGO, started Oh, Tomato as a Sampler SAL with Donna, and started the first 12 Days of Christmas berries by Erica Michaels for an ornament SAL with Donna, and others. So, this month has gotten off to a fast start and I loved every minute of it. Wishing you a wonderful year of crafting! Dena

Carolyn, yes it was so much fun! We will have to stitch together again soon. This month will be one of the busiest months for me in stitching that I have had in awhile because of BRINGO, BINGO (local group) and WIPGO; plus all the acrostics! But I am enjoying it very much! Dena

Thank you for your motivation in my own stitching! I've seen a lot of progress this past year and have a great 2024 planned as well. I've also discovered that it is ok to not meet some of my plans when life gets hectic! And that is part of stitching too!

Sarah, stitching on New Year's Eve was such fun! We teased and laughed about how ambitious we are all being about our year's goals, and we stitched! At midnight, my friend Donna and I started our Sampler together. That was awesome! I hope your New Year new start continues to be a joy for you! Dena
I also had 30 new starts and ended with 17 WIPS that I have carried into this year. I do not do prompts, but I love watching your progress in completing them. My goal is to end the year with less WIPS, and I will not be doing very many new starts and only as I have finishes. Good luck in 2024!

Candra, you are so right about the crazy call month with BRINGO and WIPGO and another BINGO that I participate in. (Not to mention the acrostics). But on Jan 1st I had four new starts! One for WIPGO, one for BRINGO, one for a Sampler SAL and one for an Ornament SAL. WHEW! I met the WIPGO call yesterday already, so only one left for January and it can wait until after all the BRINGO and BINGO calls since they end on the 25th. Hope your New Year's Day was fabulous! Dena

Kanday, Donna and I started a new sampler at midnight on December 31st! We did not stay up to help another time zone, but I went to bed about 1:30 a.m. and Donna said she was up until 2:30 so we could have. LOL. Happy Stitching in 2024! Dena
We had a very quiet Christmas like you. It was wondwrful. It is now New Year's Day and I started a new project yesterday and another one today. I, howecwf, have no definite plans for this gear. I just stitch what I want when I what. But I love gearing about all your plans.
Iris so happy you got to start two new projects for 2024! You will have more to stitch on when you are in the mood. I have started four new starts on the 1st of Jan. the first was for WIPGO, the 2nd was for a Sampler SAL I am stitching with my friend Donna, the 3rd was for BRINGO and the last one was for an Ornament SAL with friends Donna, Dee and Lori. Happy New Year to you guys! I love statistics, so I enjoyed hearing about your wonderful achievements last year. 🎉🎉 Great progress on your year-end projects, too. I like to use the downtime between Christmas and New Year to plan and stitch on other things. I got Covid on the 21st, so that squashed all my holiday plans. I did find some good hours to stitch, though. I'm in a lot (!) of SALs and Challenges next year, so I hope to get some of my BAPs done. Cocoa was a hoot with her presents. Happy New Year Dena!! You accomplished a lot in 2023. I got a new planner from my friend, Carol, and I just love it. The Cross Stitcher's Planner by Lori Sycks at My Crazy Life. I have two new starts this week, Grateful Thankful Blessed by B Gervais and Summer Moon by Plum Street. That brings me to 11 WiPs to start the Year. And I am looking forward to registering for the HSV retreat ....it is my favorite retreat. Have fun on your getaway with your hubby.

Lori, what a day it has been! Took down the Christmas decorations today. SAD. But, started four new starts! One is a WIPGO call (Spring Quaker), One is a BRINGO call, (Coastal Ornament for friend), One is my Sampler SAL with Donna (Oh Tomato) and the last is the Ornament for the Ornament SAL with you, Dee and Donna et al. (First berry of the 12 Days of Christmas Berries by Erica Michael). They are all started with at least a few stitches in them. Now I must stitch my BINGO call with the North Alabama group, 13th Colony. I also saw where Daily 30 posted their Monthly Challenge, the Acrostic "January 1st. " I have selected my projects for that and since 13th Colony has a 1 in the title I will stretch my stitches from 100 (BINGO) to 300 (for Daily 30 Acrostic). WHEW! Hope you are having a fabulous day today! Dena

Kathyn, the trip is only a 2.5 hour drive. I think a variety of projects is exactly right for 2024! I started four new ones on January 1st. Just happened that one was a WIPGO call for January, one was a Sampler SAL with my friend Donna, One was a BRINGO call and one was an ornament SAL with multiple friends. I guess that bodes well for me and new starts in 2024. LOL. Dena
Happy new year! My husband was diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago so we have had a really quiet long weekend which has been really nice. I started a new full coverage piece today, my first one, and it’s slow going, but that’s ok. I like the pieces you’ve shown in this video. They are all lovely.

Debbie, I haven't mentioned it yet, thanks for the reminder! She loved it. My sister said that when she opened it, she exclaimed two of my favorite things together! She put it next to her lift chair on her table and said it will live there all year. (LOLOLOL). Then she actually told my sister, "I hope you get one like this too." It was almost a Nanna, nanny, boo boo kind of statement. Cracked my sister up! Dena
