Additional notes on Grand Chariot: •Since Grand Chariot can uniquely also tribute monsters from the field, it’s a good idea to tribute a spare body on field to save both your field spell use and Departures in grave. This means swiping all the way to the far right very quickly when you’re low on the timer. •Grand Chariot can also target your Radiation to pop in and re-up your counters with a fresh copy that you drew into with the first copy. This allows you to draw more than 7 cards in 1 turn, or in some cases your entire deck in one turn until you have to start to say no to the effect. This can allow you to dig through your deck for CC or whatever your wild KCC tech is until you find it. •Due to Grand Chariot’s ability to pop Radiation, it can be a good idea to summon Grand Chariot first and then Septentrion when going first and opening your entire deck, because you can easily summon 6 times looking for what you need before you make your first Lv7 synchro. You really want to pop Radiation before it runs out on your way to a double synchro opening. •If you nearly deck yourself out due to greed and massive board commitment, you should save the third copy of Radiation in hand while leaving the second copy on field to continuously recycle the interruptions in GY and avoid decking out, with the third copy in hand ready to go in case the opponent catches on to your resource loop. Leave at least 1-2 cards in the deck to give yourself the chance to play the third copy before you deck out in case they out the one on field.
Hi again I just wanna say that today I reached KOG thanks to your spice , I just made some adjustments because I don't have all the cards , Instead of the third cosmic i put 1 slider as a disturbance & extender And instead of the third departure, I put the book of moon guy .
It is absolutely mandatory because it lets you summon without cost, and yes, it does activate automatically without giving you a choice, once you hit 7 or more counters while controlling a synchro you will take a monster, the only optional part is who you are taking. You're now the second person to just blatantly lie in this comment section it is absolutely hilarious -undead
Wow, the card says “you can”.. Literally “YOU CAN”! Which means it’s optional… smh.. There is no mandatory eff in the game that says “you can”. I actually enjoyed the video, pointed out something that was wrong and I got called a liar. 😂
I've been trying out this Ursarctic deck and even though it feels awesome and competitive, it seems like it gets shut down extremely easy, like a glass jaw on a boxer, it falls so easy to one good book of moon or mirror force. Then it's time to scoop. If not that, then the BLS match up with that blatant cheating skill that gives them all the pieces of the puzzle they need to have a 3k beatstick that sends everything into your deck after inevitably killing one of your monsters. I'm not running 3 cosmic cyclone, only 1. But I almost feel like you could take out 2 of them for lances just for some kind of protection because this deck gets neutered from backrow. Another thing is people might be tempted to go into Septentrion when going first to get that draw, but aside from that, it has no protection from anything. So even though I like Chariot's popping effect, the effect negation is almost REQUIRED when going first, at least in my opinion.
Hey casual noob here. Yep its fun and help me climb from bronze to gold in just a week. But after gold rank lot of deck can shut my combo down. Especialy that BLS, that deck feels like cheating
Exactly. The skill does everything for them. It's less of a skill and more of outright cheating to get them started. That's why I think staples should include protection for your boss monsters or else it's time to scoop or pray your opponent bricked, which is usually unlikely given how consistent these 20 card decks can be.@@mr.peterguy

Alotta people are just followers bro and its irritating having everyone (most of whom probably dont even own 3 copies of Departure to test the ratios) telling me its wrong. I understand good deck building and I'm glad you're trying to teach others the same.
Honestly bro if something is true, it is true regardless of who believes it, and if people believe something, that doesn't make it true. This isn't the first time and it isn't the last time this community is in mass silliness about this, there's literally no reason not to play 3 departure. Im trying to decide if i should build this deck (I already have 2x Departure but none of the SRs) or build Mermail Atlantean. I still dont really understand how to play this deck but it seems fun and I would hate for the URs to sit in my inventory to never be used.
sometimes i cant use my big dipper to activate polari? do i need specific card in my graveyard? sometimes i can use polari once with big dipper then i cant active it again? also sometimes i cant tribute from my graveyard. had to sacrifice my synchro to active polari. im really confuse why big dipper didnt active

since i only have 2 Departure i figured adding another copy of the Book of Moon ursarctic was good to replace it, as departure represents more archetypal names. Do you think the in archetype monster reborn/ddr would be better to play instead?
theres really no replacement for the 3rd departure since it isnt names it represents, its accessibility to what you specifically need it represents -undead

In other decks that engine is used in the worst case scenario is that knowledge can draw 2 by discarding a different spellcaster, in this deck that won't happen, it's also dire if you open more than 1 card in the engine, so for consistency purposes I don't play it, especially because they deck does not need it it is already consistent, and there's not a single card I'd cut in the list I show in this video -Undead
All boxes can be reset so that you can go through them again. Finish going through zillion Thunder so that you get everything in it, then reset the box and do it again, then reset the box and do it a third time. Any time you want a deck from a box and that deck has URs, do this. -Undead

@Mateus_Palamecia you can say that all you want but we have the analytics, sure you'll still watch it but the majority of the community clicks on a video to find a decklist and thats horrible for us with the way the algorithm works. Respectfully we make decisions based on knowledge of the system, the community, and our analytics. You can type in ursarctic in the search bar and all the cards are there for you to enter into your deck when you have them, this is not a difficult process-Undead
I made the wrong decision to open the Armed Thunder box once, stopped after getting the URs. Got a 2nd Departure from a bundle. What do I sub the missing UR and SR spell with?

IT's wrong to play CC. You must play lance because you want to protect the boss from bom/chalice/dark hole. Still deck autoscoops from Speedroid (and you dont show it on matchup, very bait by your side).
It isn't wrong to play cosmic at all, it activates the skill, the decks also got hand traps and follow up plays so it isn't thay big of a deal. I showed the first 3 replays I got, there's no bait, it's just what what happening on ranked -Undead

Cosmic cyclone in this deck is a 2 for 1, and to say cosmic doing nothing this format is blatantly wrong. Book and chalice turning off interruptions isn't specific to a particular deck that happens to literally everyone, and everyone has their own way of continuing through it, for example this deck is very likely to have Miktanus in hand at the end of the turn if played right, with departure in grave and big dipper on field, that is still an interruption and follow up without the septentrion. Like I said I literally showed the first 3 replays I got, like I do in every video, if I had to sit on ranked for hours waiting for specific matchups to cater to you specifically who already has your mind made up, then I would be wasting my own time and hindering myself from working, sleeping, eating, and moving on to the next video. A deck that hard counters XYZ and Links has a more difficult matchup against the best deck that doesn't use XYZ or Links? Of course, man, that is obvious. Every time a deck comes out it doesn't have to be the best deck in the world in order for it to be a good deck. Every deck has weaknesses, including the best decks. Imagine if Orcust came out and you commented "it loses to dweller so its bait" well I could hard draw chalice to out it but thats relying on drawing the out, something that isn't always going to happen, the same way Speedroids aren't always going to draw chalice against Ursarctic. If a casual player picks up an ursarctics deck and plays in platinum and legend, will they be more or less successful than a player that picks up a BLS deck? I would say less success, and casual performance is an important consideration in addition to the meta and kc cup. I do enjoy playing this deck though! And I'm not playing optimal yet cause just started. So love watching your video!
You are confusing the decks merits with the players merits, if the player can only win with a deck that requires less knowledge and thought, that has nothing to do with the decks in question -undead@@darklight1030

Big Dipper can only replace the tribute once per turn, that might be whats happening -Undead

We can flip it down with megatanus before synchro summoning, roach can't negate the main deck ursarctics summoning themselves so -undead

I think what it accomplishes is fantastic, the issue is though that cosmic cyclone has risen in popularity once again and that is really rough -undead

How did you get multiple copies of departure? Was it from an earlier box because the current zillion thunder only has one copy of it.
All boxes can be reset so that you can go through them again. Finish going through zillion Thunder so that you get everything in it, then reset the box and do it again, then reset the box and do it a third time. Any time you want a deck from a box and that deck has URs, do this. -Undead
