Imagine if Mu got the Gunbarrel striker pack for the strike instead of the Perfect striker pack it would fit his style since he used the Mobius Zero for a large portion of the show
there's a gba gundam seed game that is kinda rpg-ish, that, if you do everything right, you can save natarle and get the gunbarrel pack for his strike.

Mu was supposed to get a Strike with a Gunbarrel Striker but he went and defected to Orb and instead got the original Strike repaired with the perfect pack he used a total of 1 time.
It'd have been cool for space battles, but it would have been obviously much less helpful than the Perfect Strike for the battle that pack was used for since it was in Earth's gravity and the gunbarrels would have been useless.
Perfect Striker was only ever used during the battle of Orb on Earth in the SEED Remaster. If you switch it with the Gunbarrel, it would've been useless because Moebious Barrels can only work in space. That's why Mu switched from Moebius to Skygrasper when Archangel was cruising the Earth's sky.
This is one of those kits that I will always have hope for a proper remake. One of the best looking SEED designs ever but let down by being sixteen years old.

That rifle kinda reminds me of one of the solid ammo rifles in Armored Core. Like AC4/For Answer specifically.

New era of HGCE was already started since HGCE Aile Strike was released. Not to be confused with the regular SEED HG Remaster.

The thing I like the most from your review is how you mention the places that needs color corrections.

I love this MS. I usually write up specs for different variants for my fanfic writing, like my GAT-01A1C Ritter Dagger. Ritter is German for Knight, and I'm still working on the Gundam that it's developed from the Strike Ritter. Still, awesome review man!
Very informative but sobering review. My takeaway is that this is an average kit of a great design that has a lot of fun perks that you can make use of if you have other related model kits. I still kind of want to pick it up, but now I know what I'll be getting.
i just realized, if u change the head of 105 dagger with strike dagger, it basically become a strike dagger with a different paint job XD
You'd need to modify the shoulders... but yeah, it's a pretty close resemblance.
For the rather.... notoriously loose grip on the rifles that these old Seed kits have, I usually cut out a tiny piece of polycap runner and jam it in between the grip and the I guess ball of thumb; bit fiddly, but makes the thing stay in there really well

That Gunbarrel is the clear star of the kit, buying it just for that, probably to display separately.
I loved building it! My main problem was the chain gun wouldn't stay on the gunbarrel so I had to glue it.
I saw a post online once on how to update the joints of these old seed suits using the parts from the Balden Arms or the No Name Rifle parts
Speaking of color separation for a SEED line kit, try the Blaze Zaku Phantom.
Although lacking on the articulations, but boi the color separation on that kit sure is something for its time.
I got the RX78-2 also freedom stike and im planing to put let light on the GAT-X 105 Strike Aile perfect grade is fun
The Gunbarrel Striker is my favorite Striker Pack alongside the Aile and IWSP. Now there's gonna be a EG Gunbarrel Strike Gundam with a new modified Gunbarrel Striker. I can't wait to get that and play it in Gundam Breaker 4.😊
Love the review as for the color scheme nothing simple paint scheme will fix Too make that model pop.

I love this because we just get so little in the way of support vehicles for Cosmic Era. Guess that kinda makes this an army builder, even if this isn't a Moebius, exactly.
Checked the Instagram, and the Gunbarrel Striker fits well with the Revive Strike!
I've been really happy with the Gunbarrel Dagger I bought a long time ago, but I really want a second one to swap striker packs with since the first one has become kinda brittle. I really hope Bandai does a re-issue someday.
I painted mine to be "anime" accurate xD still used stickers though cuz I just can't bring myself to throw them away ~ this WAS my VERY FIRST gunpla kit, not even gundam kit..... had to buy a second one a few years back just because when I moved the head hinge for the backpack broke Dx
The Zaku III's kick or stomp could probably kill that little Dagger.

At this point, you could pretty much just build a custom Build Strike Dagger. Could actually make an interesting custom hero suit/gunpla.

and in view of the gunbarell striker pack I think it is compatible with the wing strike Gundam hg or the new model of dagger seed Destiny hg

someone at my hobby shop said that if you put in the effort you could fix the chest with a 30 minute mission kit by basicly forcing it into large high grades bodies but you would have to hollow out the chest i might try it out.
Im surprised that this isnt completely compatible with the parts from the other kits IN THE SAME series and around the same time. Even the revive Aile Strike and Windam probably has better compatibility.
and im still hoping for a gunbarrel to fit the 2021 hg dagger L. and an mg or fm Chaos Gundam (not the blah 1/100)

as i own the kit it's kinda a shame that the Sword Striker's shoulder pad don't fit very well unless you mod it along with the HGCE and HG Gundam SEED's Aile Striker.
i wonder if Mu had the gunbarrel striker pack if he would have been able to defeat rau le creuset or put up a better fight, rather than using the Aile striker.
Remember Mu and the rest of Archangel crew defected from EA before he got the Gunbarrel striker pack.

The HG Remaster Strike/Perfect Strike (the kits that came out in 2011-2013, NOT the HGCE from 2014) and the HG Remaster Calamity/Forbidden/Raider all come with a marking sticker sheet that has two OMNI logos, a normal sized one and a smaller one.

Seed's story sucked but the design of the mobile suits are legendary
I've seen better but they had some high points. Their mass production units were some of my favorites. Ginns and Daggers FTW.
