We are bound to wash our face 5 times a day
The curse of being a Muslim
And we live a very happy and healthy life dear
Especially men with many wives. Our wives are youthful and gorgeous too. Unfortunately more than you.

Yea, her husband is worth +$40 billion
@@ines7746 yea just admit, partly genetics and partly very expensive skin care
I belive she doesn't wash her face in the morning... and also has laser therapy, a few surgical interventions, and whatever else billionaires have access to 😂
Remember everyone’s skin is different. If your skin is too oily then keep doing what works for you
The more often you wash the more oil will regenerate, she has very good advice
@@kiks7891 In the majority of cases oily skin is genetics/hormones...what you do on the outside will have no great influence on it. If your skin becomes oily because of the wrong products then your skin is not really oily.
@@kiks7891 agree I used to have extremely oily skin nothing helped, started washing only at night and using only vanicream lotion and now a year later my skins never been clearer or softer.
I 100% believe most ppl with “oily” skin are simply washing to much and using to many products! Same with hair I used to be oily at the end of every day, stared washing once every 3 days and now by day 3 I’ve barley got any oil
@@briarchoi31 tried all you said and i’m still oily. even when i didn’t have a skincare routine (so as a kid) or when i tried not washing my hair for longer time i had super super oily skin and scalp
@@elisa1213 yea I mean obviously people with oily skin still exist my intent with my comment wasn’t supposed to imply oily skin is a myth or anything , I just find from my experience most ppl aren’t actually oily and simply wash either to much or with to harsh of products, same with super dry skin most ppl I’ve met who switched to use healthier skincare routines ended up finding there skin to be closer to the middle rather then the extremes they still exist but it’s definitely not as common as it would seem
I also will add my oily ness didn’t drop until 3-4 months of consistent maintenance with this routine, so it’s not a “quick fix” like some ppl have implied but unless someone has some specific skin issues or needs it’s 100% worth a try for how many(100+) ppl I’ve seen it be a “miracle cure” for there skin issues
When she said she was 41 I believed her 😂

How to look youthful in your 50s:-
Be rich.
Exactly the skin care and treatment for skin are super expensive and the products too. Especially in Beverly Hills.
I believe is their diet Spaniards have full of olive oil
Not necessarily cuz my mom is 51 and she looks 40
It's not about the money i think it's all about taking good care of yr skin without using too much products
Like u can simply find the soap tht fits yr skin / clean your face every night / hydrate yr skin before going to bed nd use honey nd coffee 2 times per week 🤷🏻♀️ it really works
Nd for oily skin u can add some lemon 🤌🏻
Yeez its not always about money… some people just look good and younger. 🙄

Live stress free and you'll have a great skin. That's the only secret.
True!
So true...!
That's not very realistic is it?
@kathy Mind over matter
@@Katya2000it is, believe it or not. i got a lot of cystic acne for a good 5 years and honestly, besides lymphatic drainage, eating well, and keeping up with my showers (cerave is amazing btw but anyways)- i have been changing my mindset which changed my stress which also affected my skin. Now my skin mostly clear. So yeah, as unbelievable as that sounds, thats also true.
That’s actually very true. You can mostly rinse with water and pat dry and should be fine, unless you suffer from severe acne etc
That's pretty much what she means but people are misinterpreting it as her telling people to just get up and go. I believe years ago she said she doesn't wash her face in the morning with soap, instead she uses rose water to rinse.
@@saraosorio553 where do get rose water from?
I think you're going to want to follow that advice even more if you've got acne.
I once stopped doing anything to my skin in the morning. Initially I felt an icky greasiness upon waking up but after a few days it just stopped on its own.
I did this for a week and my skin was more peachy more than when i used to wash my face in the morning.

I have always done this too, but mostly because I am lazy and it seemed pointless because I did nothing but sleep ...here I am, Pretty aight skin. Listen to Selma.
Your skin looks amazing give yourself more credit but i agree i was the same way then i starting washing in the morning seems like it ddidnt look as good im happy i wasnt consistent 😂

@@embeetoast2211 yes. Just not in morning.
@@lindsay644 thanks!
same here. sometimes I even sleep in my makeup and my skin is pretty good . literally all I do is moisturize
I stopped washing my face in the morning a few years back, and it really helps tbh. Less oily and less damage to skin barrier
Salma is so pretty
Important thing: Shower every night , change your bedsheets every one week, otherwise dead skin and dirt accumulation will cause breakouts
My sister’s acne was so bad she had to take spiranolactone but ever since she stopped washing her face on a camping trip she’s literally slept in a full face of makeup and had no sign of that except for bumps that were entirely imperceptible and not red in the slightest.

Yeah when there's oil on my skin I know I'm either washing it now or having a breakout next day 🤣
Same! I have oily acne prone skin and I can get away with not washing my face for a day but the next day I’ll wake up with a pimple or two because of the excess sebum in my pores. Research and do what’s best for your skin type!
How often do you wash your pillow cases? Also, how oily is your hair when you go to bed?
@@klassycountryk Every two days (once I’ve slept on both sides), and my hair isn’t that oily at all.
Absolutely for oily acne prone skin a very mild face wash in the morning is good and for sensetive skin washing the face with Luke warm water is better.
I heard this like 4 years ago
And stop washing my face in the mornings
And I’ve seen so much difference on my skin
I've been doing this for more than a year because when I used to wash my face in the morning with a face wash, I used to get extremely dry and I'd find dry patches. So, I've started just rinsing my face with plain water and putting on moisturizer and sunscreen. Works like a wonder and my skin is super soft.
Do you apply moisturizer at night. In morning while bathing we automatically wash our face. So how do you dont wash
@@mauing I just don't use a face wash in the morning, as I've mentioned in the comment, I do rinse my face with cold water before applying my skincare for the day. Also, I do apply moisturizer at night. I have been using Tretinoin lately, so that's also contributing to the dryness. So I use a face wash at night and wash my face with plain water in the morning.
Same
Been doing this because it never made sense to me to wash your face with soap/cleanser in the morning. I just spray rose water or I used a bucket of ice and dip my face. It works better than coffee and your skin will feel less puffy.
I don't wear skin makeup so my biggest tip is (if you're like me and your pillow doesn't move) flip your pillow after a few days/ halfway through whenever you wash your bedding (please try to do it regularly). The oil buildup from your hair and face (as well as arms if you cuddle it) can undo all the hard work of washing as it's touching your face all night long. Skincare is about PREVENTING damage, because you can only heal it so much when it occurs.
My face is too oily, in the T-zone area, not to wash my face in the morning. If I’m not going anywhere, I might not wash it, but if I am, I definitely wash/cleanse it!
@@liarenne9087 tell me you don't have a VERY oily skin without telling me you don't have a VERY oily skin
Try wiping or blotting it vs. Washing it
Try dipping your face in water and ice and spraying rose water in the morning so when you get in your 30’s you won’t look like you’re in your 50’s
I splash cold water on my face in the morning. It wakes me up and it’s great for my skin. And then I put on a light moisturizer.
I do this too. I fully wash at night but i like to get the sensation of cleaning it in the morning lol
I do the same. I only use water in the morning and put my serums on. No longer have an oily t zone. My cosmetologist recommended it to me a couple years back.

I actually find washing it with cold water after you wake up much better to boost blood circulation in your face
But my best ever skincare advice ? Good nutrition and Cardio.
Yes, you need your blood to circulate to get that glow
Salma is eternaly beautiful!
Okay but she’s right because I started doing this and my skin healed itself.
If your skin is oily, use micellar water!
The key is not to not clean your face but do it gently. Face wash can be too harsh in the mornings.
It is the same advice my mother and grandma gave me. ❤

It’s called being rich your whole life. Eating the best food, people taking care of you, no job. All the stresses in life are removed for her. We should all be so fortunate
You don't need to be rich to live an inner and outer life healthily 🤫🤫🤫 expensive products don't always work. In the morning just splash warm water followed by cold water... no products needed... I've followed this routine since my teens... minimise use of makeup... Ever wondered why most men's skin is flawless. Most of them just use water 😂😂😂😂😂

Honestly I’ve noticed my skin looks so dewy and glowing in the morning. Not every morning, but the good ones.
It does work. But i found it out when i was depressed and didnt wash my face for week. So its true
As an esthetician student this is actually true. And to add to that Diana’s your skin with cold water in the morning to get rid of any excess oils
Have been trying last few days. Have to say my redness on my cheeks has been reduced! Seems to work for me; but like other comments say everyone is different.
Thank you. Please share more secrets
The crazy thing is you can look at her forehead and tell she hasn't had botox. And she still looks amazing
Botox is temporary
This is 100% correct unless you have extremely oily skin. I have very dry skin and found that washing my face at night and in the morning was too much so instead, I skip the morning and go straight to adding under eye cream and moisturizer and it’s helped me get that dewy glowy effect but again, I have very dry skin so what works for me won’t work for everyone! ☺️
This is true. I know someone she’s 93 yrs old . Her face looks so fresh and young ❤️❤️

I've always loved how my skin looked in the morning before washing, but i also always thought that it's beest to wash it, because that's what everhone says. Now i can do it confidently, but i have no idea how to put on makeup with all the oils
I always clean and moisturize my skin at night. And i wake up with beautiful skin in the morning and i dont wash the glow off. Salma is right 👍 💯
Beautiful Salma 💞😍 I love her movies my favorite movie is How to be a Latin millionaire
This actually make sense. When I take the time to wash my skin really well at night and go through my whole routine when I wake up my skin looks so nice and then after I wash it that morning i wash all the progress away and it doesn’t look as good. I’m gonna try this for a week and see how I like it.

“What im 41”😂😂😂
I would do this, but my face is super oily in the morning cause of how much I sweat at night so I'd just feel too gross
I have oily skin and i HIGHLY recommend cetaphil. Its so gentle my skin stopped over reacting to the harsher cleaners

I can’t. I wake up why slobber on my face
She meant not doing a deep cleansing of the skin but you can do the common one to remove that.
As a dry skinned person I totally agree!

No darling, you don't look 29. Even with that filter on. You look good. Just not 29. You look your age.
I sometimes don't wash my face in the morning because I am lazy. Now I actually have a good reason not to do it. Thank you, Salma!

She's always funny 😂❤
but that's how i truly wake up
you can still rinse your face with cold water, just skip the soap/cleanser

It is a delightful surprise from the "Creator" to the creation (male) that the woman's "beauty is such a wonder", as a stream of water flows from a mountain, taking on new forms, can call her beauty like this, and this is Salma Hayek, one of the most beautiful women in the recent world.
Agree! I only ever wash my skin at night, in the morning it looks great and i don’t want to irritate it
I know it's not for everybody, but a routine that's been working for me for about ten years now is washing my face with hot water, not scorching hot, in the morning and washing it with cold water at bedtime. The hot water loosens the pores, making it easier to cleanse the pores of oils, dirt, make up, etc and the cold water tightens pores, which reduces puffiness. I also use petroleum jelly, just a generic brand because the Vaseline brand breaks me out, in the morning and at night. The petroleum jelly softens my skin.
Thats soooo true!
I agree. You look beautiful. 😊
It depends on the person. Esthetician here.
Some people it works, some not so much. I realized that I do really well with a hydrating cleanser or oil cleanser in the morning since not washing might look brighter but I still get breaks outs.
Win-win.
Some time ago I stopped washing my face with products 2 times per day, I only wash it once and my skin looks soooo much better
Skin type and texture not only have to do with the amount of cleansing you do but diet counts as well. So if you have a certain type of skin type that you treat a certain way and it’s working for you, stick with it!
I actually tried this for a few weeks and didn’t work bc the sedimentation of oils actually clogged my pores and resulted in breakouts. For me, a refreshing cleanse in the morning with a very gentle cream cleanser works so much better.
Struggled with acne my whole life and I began doing this and my skin started GLOWING. Now I just splash cold water on my face or use a toner and get straight to vitamin c, moisturiser and spf in the morning.
Might not work for everyone but I got way more compliments on my skin after I stopped morning washing.
Also I have oily, acne-prone skin!
omg i’ve been doing this forever and it works so good for me. if i wash my face in the morning, it’s a greasy mess later, so yay to my youth replenishing face oils 😅
This actually makes great sense. 👍
