Kisubi, thanks for the good work. I have followed the Kadogo segments you have been posting and below are my views:
    1. The Kadogos contribution towards the liberation of the country deserves a better recognition than what we r seeing. Infact during the 26th January celebrations they should always be on the forefront.
    2. These Kadogo by virtue of the fact that they didn't progress much on their studies, they can't argue out the so called officers whose intentions are quite to the contrary to what the President ordered. These officers had or have their own vendetta regarding the kadogo issues.
    3. The officers who were with them in the bush and who understood them well have passed on unfortunately. The remaining seem compromised according to what i pick from Sgt Gitta.
Afande Nalweiso, thanks be to God she is still around. Let her come out, meet these people, listen to them and most importantly organize a meeting with the President. Am very sure the president will be happy to see them and upon reminiscing on how they assisted his ascend to power, their situation won't remain the same. Unless afande Nalweiso is also not willing to assist her former bush mates.
    4. These Kadogos, being taken to school direct was not a brilliant move. These were no longer normal Children to go to school. They had lost parents, trained to kill and infact killed many, they witnessed alot of traumatising events as children in the bush. Their heads or minds were not straight for school. They needed to undergo a lot of counselling and psycho support to enable them embark on school matters. This was not done , i stand to be corrected.
    5. Its a fact the Kadogos contributed a lot. They might have made mistakes, but even the govt they brought also was not perfect. Many things have been corrected gradually. All they need is support to enable them start some income generating activities. And this can be done for sure. Sgt Gita clearly says their group is registered, beautiful! What an opportunity to deal with an organised group!!
Mr. Kisubi, I for one know the approach of Sgt Gita might not be welcome by most of the officers. He and the Colleagues need help on the best approach to aid them meet the man they brought into power. Be thier hero, ASSIST THEM. I thank you and the viewers. Big up Sgt Gita. U r a hero.

Thank you so much for this detailed analysis. I completely agree.
It was a foolish and it is still a foolish argument that the kadogos should have gone back to school, to resume studies from P2+ , after they had spent years in the bush war.
These were no longer ordinary children.
Expecting military adjusted boys and girls to reset as ordinary children after killing humans, mutilating bodies, using drugs and smoking all sorts from as young as 12 years old is a ridiculous plan.
In addition, they had no guidance via a parent or guardian to support them through school. Even children that are supported and loved and guided by parents may find school a challenge and drop out, what about these traumatised kadogos?
The military/government must do more for these people. They may look like ordinary ugandans but I am surprised that they are not alcohol/drug addicts despite the horrors they experienced, witnessed, exerted.

What I know is that Mr m7 the president is a wise man he can't drop his kadogo soldiers what I can feel is there's some blocks which putted those kids out if the president of not seeing them for the hard and brave work they had done in the past and some of the them never fought a bush war the hatred the impunity and the bad heart which occurred in some officer's minds of not seeing those kids being happy at all but blessed the Lord of poor people who corrected you in a dropping dust of now coz he knows the job you had done and saw your inner sorrows and you're lighted

These kadogos are very right. Its not only them but even other bush soldiers and officers. Most of us retired and were given meagre pension and gratuity. They are languishing in poverty. We love our ssabalwanyi H.E M7. Please remember us. We are the only people who brought this government to power.

All we have to understand is: Is what he is saying true? Have u heard any person coming out to challenge him that what he is saying was not there??? So let's understand his state of mind. All these people need is support.
