- This vest was hard as hell to find and get my hands on. I wanted a new platform that I was familiar with, and at the same time be able to customize. With this vest, I think I've done all that.

One of the most thorough reviews I've seen.
Thank you. I try to be as accurate as possible with the material.
Very good review. thanks
Wow! Thank you for creating this video dude :) I studied this matter about 10-15 years ago, and since then information about the IIFS prototype vests (ABA/LowePro, Eagle/Harris) and the later transitional USMC vest and SPIE harness have surfaced. I bet you know the enhanced versions with slanted pouches and mesh body, and the grenadier vest...
I've seen the videos about the Spear system and it was definitely a made by the lowest bidder thing. From what information I watched on it, it was a good idea but overall a terrible joke in practice and implementation. If operators need to use rigger tape and the like before they even did one mission and just to keep it together, then you know it was messed up.
@@outerheavenpaintball wow...I didn't know the SPEAR-system was so bad ... I think the fighting load was made by SDS, Safariland and Rothco
Hi! You must notice, that there is an version of this vest in UCP. I have bought one this week in one set with UCP medic bag :-) Greetings!
Actually, I'm familiar with the fact that it also came in the UCP. I just chose it in the woodland pattern because I find it to be better for my uses. The platform as a whole is ideal because it's easier to work with than the plate carriers and modular OTV systems on the market today.
Mine has evolved considerably over the years. I hope this video was good by the way.
@@outerheavenpaintball Video is great! I was only wondered if You now about UCP, thats all. Here in Poland we also love USGI things. My private colection is pretty big, but always it can be bigger ;-) :-D
