China was adopting all the good soviet stuff like their version of the AKM in 1956, hence the name designation. It's still a pretty solid piece of gear that would be cool for the magazine fed field.

That love of the sport never died. Even if I'm not on the field as much as I want to, I feel that I should pass on the knowledge and look at gear that can help evolve this sport. That and we can't let our counterparts in airsoft have all the fun with sick ass gear :P

I've seen the videos about the Spear system and it was definitely a made by the lowest bidder thing. From what information I watched on it, it was a good idea but overall a terrible joke in practice and implementation. If operators need to use rigger tape and the like before they even did one mission and just to keep it together, then you know it was messed up.

It's an el cheapo generic one I got from Ebay ages ago. I had to mod it with different attachment hardware over the years.

The pack is pretty solid. If you really need to mod it, it can be. It wouldn't be hard to find the right slide buckles and stuff to have for in field fix jobs.

I will say that it's pretty much a flexible pack. I've used it with thing for my niece when taking her to the park. It's a good tactical dad bag. Otherwise, I use it for the gun range as a range bag or for my paintball needs.

Believe me, it's hard trying to evolve when it comes to making videos. This is especially true when you're working with limited means. Yet it can also be a form of therapy in other respects.

It's how they mount to a platform. The A.L.I.C.E. clips were used as far back as Vietnam and initially worked with military issue pistol belts. The M.O.L.L.E. stuff was different. It used a webbing system that wasn't compatible with the older gear. The modular webbing would be torn from the vest or other platform because of the weight of the A.L.I.C.E. pouches as if judt of on the M.O.L.L.E platform. That's why they made those adaptors.

Actually, you can do just that but... the attached item will be somewhat loose.

Actually, I'm familiar with the fact that it also came in the UCP. I just chose it in the woodland pattern because I find it to be better for my uses. The platform as a whole is ideal because it's easier to work with than the plate carriers and modular OTV systems on the market today. Mine has evolved considerably over the years. I hope this video was good by the way.

I'm part of a community that sadly has to say something when a moron decides to use a paintball marker to do idiot things. Sadly kids are getting shot with real weapons when they shoot paintballs at the wrong people. The other sad thing is this is happening in places that have high crime rates to begin with and is festering with gang activity. The paintball community doesn't want our sport to be regulated out of existence by feel good bullshit that dose nothing. Yet, in the long run, that clown (21 savage) should've known better than starting a social media thing that has done nothing but promoter the general ignorance in these communities.

I work on a limited budget. So that means a smartphone for video work.

That stock was done by Eric Engler. He's considered a God among those that modify markers. This video was also done years ago before I used my cell to shoot video. I was using a crap webcam.

Actually, the tactical style of paintball has been around since the sport began in the 80's. It had a massive resurgence in the early 2000's and now we have magazine fed markers.

You're free to have your own thoughts on paintball but, airsoft is in the same boat when you think about the idiots that walk around the street with an airsoft gun. In many ways, both paintball and airsoft have it bad with the element of idiocy.

No tf its not

I use a lot of their gear personally and I've found it to be serviceable for my needs. It's also easy to replace if needed. I can understand if it's not what you go for but, it works well for me and that's all that counts. I still hope you found the other information in the video, article, and the other links in the description to be useful.
