One of my fondest memories of being a herald was the absolute peace and serenity during the first 60 minutes of the game. You would be guaranteed that much time to afk farm because the enemy team was also doing the same thing. Objectives were never pressured so you never felt pressured. Everyone was just gearing up to be 6 slotted for the second hour of the game where you would have nonstop epic battles. Good times
Potential new mode: Insta-Late Deathmatch where all heroes start at level 30 with 30K gold and auto Shard + Scepter. Ancients are invulnerable and the goal is 500 kills.
500 might be too much but sounds good otherwise

there is a reason why most herald games in these videos take 40+ mins because they just want to play so that they have some good free time.

I fell from antiant to herald over a years playing only drunk but my games are never this long, I either loose in around 40min or win in 30 with 20/0 score. Also I've never seen stuff like this undying and kunka were doing

except heralds genuinely don't know how to end games or when they're powerful enough to do so

@@Cricket0021 He was already max level so maybe his thought process was ''I don't need it so I'll just deny it''. Then he realized he could just still pick it up to deny it.
Funny thing is even if he was full xp he has teammates who are not max level yet and would benefit from it.

I don't play DotA anymore, but the thing I most remember about Herald DotA is . . . not much, because I was mostly hammered. I stopped DUI (dotaing under the influence) and suddenly I wasn't in Herald anymore. If you just assume everyone in these videos is drunk as shit, it makes a lot more sense.

I played with heralds but I've never seen this type of plays. Only ignoring tormentors, runes and Roshan or farming while whole team is dead but it's not just herald thing
