  • Hey everyone, what's going on?! Welcome to another recipe video by Ancestral Healing.
    Today we are going to be making BONE MARROW BUTTER! This is a creamy, satiating buttery alternative to your regular butter. You can spread it on egg yolk muffins, cloud bread, a delicious slice of steak or brisket, or pretty much anything you can think of. It goes well with literally anything!
    This carnivore recipe is another staple in our animal based diet and a great way to get our healthy fats in. We usually make a batch and store it in a small container to last us for the whole week. Bone Marrow Butter is also a great alternative if you're trying to go dairy-free or take a little break from dairy.
    COMMENT below if you have any suggestions of what carnivore food ideas you would like to see us make next.
    And as always, let's keep it simple and eat real food again.
    Now let's get into how to make Bone Marrow Butter.

    Great info. I could do without having the music being so loud, but I’m old.

    How strict do you have to be when it comes to bacon? Are you able to still eat nitrates and such in your opinion? I hear a lot of mixed views. thanks

    Do you store the marrow butter in the fridge afterwards? How long does it stay safe to consume?

    I tried to do bone marrow once ... but I think I cooked it too long? I couldn't really get any marrow out. It was hard and had a lattice thing going on that I couldn't really get through. Maybe I was using bad bones? I will give it a try again. I was really expecting you were going to be mixing/blending this with butter ... wonder how that would be. -- Good video, enjoying the channel. One piece of advice might be to lower the music volume when doing the quick shots. I always have to modulate my volume down during it and back up after.

      It may have been a bad batch. I find sometimes if the bones are too small they won’t have that much marrow. Butter could definitely be a great addition to the mix! I’d give it a try. That’s a great tip about the volume, I will most definitely incorporate that. Much appreciated!

    From where do you source your animal products? And are you on completely animal-based diet or 10% to 20% you do have few veggies or spices?

    • @ancestralhealing
      @ancestralhealing  Před 3 lety +4

      We source our animal products from a local grassfed and grass finished farm. All of the organ meats that we eat are Grass-fed and grass finished, but not all of the steaks we eat are grass-fed/finished as those are super pricey :( we don’t eat steak every day though. Hopefully one day we can have a diet that’s completely grassfed and finished. We are 100% animal based and just use salt for seasoning. Maybe once a year we will fry up some mushrooms in a frying pan with some butter.

    The loud music is a bit much, but thanks for the info.

      I know! I was just figuring out the volume issues when I first started making videos. I have hopefully resolved those issues in my newer videos. Thank you.

    I absolutely hate the music on your channel. You talk so quiet. Then boom loud as hell
