Goood Evening Sir. Your video and images were well done. I apologize for the turn the comments took. JB91710 is a well known troll and apparently elicits pretty strong feelings from people. Please don’t let him effect what you do.

Anyone willing to put their lives on the line to save others, and to fight one of the most difficult things to control (fire) have my full respect. I live in Britain, our Firefighters are some of the best in the world. A lot being learnt from the huge blazes brought about by war. My Great Uncle was one of those. Today there is more to protect the men and woman. However, as a Now retired Nursing Sister, I have experienced the fight fighters injured while fighting to control blazes where fire has been the least of the hazards involved. Chemicals, and chocking smoke being 2 of the more evil of the combatants!

Authorities investigating an explosion and fire last week at a home in north suburban Northbrook have found no evidence the blaze was intentionally set or to indicate it was suspicious in nature, but the cause remains undetermined.- Chicago Sun-Times

Don't wooden houses burn well. Sadly here in the UK we are following your lead and building shoddy stud and ply death traps. Even the wood frame and brick clad houses are beyond saving before the fire service arrive.

I often wonder about firemen and women who don't wear masks when they are outside of the burning structure. It would seem to me that they would inhale an awful lot of smoke which I would think would not be good for their long term health.

Too bad such beautiful looking homes are build too close to each other. Looks like maybe... 10 feet between the houses. What can be of used in areas which homes like these (attached garage), is a towing rig on one of the larger trucks. The stubborn fire inside the garage was a car with foam of which it looked like petroleum burning. Perhaps someway a towing gig could hook up to push or pull the car out onto the driveway curtain. (Not when it or the building is fully involved however) Or perhaps have a way to put foam onto the "oil" fire.
    Just saying!

Stop making comments when you don’t know anything about car fires. Cara don’t blow up like they do in the movies in fires. I have a friend who’s car was in a fire and a full gas tank and didn’t even make a spark.

Looks like an out of control gas line in the garage, still flaring as the firemen put water on it... There's the culprit right there...Big, bad leak of some kind got that going... Blew a big portion of the house to the moon!

Northbrook, IL is an area with a lot of money. The explosion happened at 2500 block of Melanie Lane. The people there only have lots that are maybe 50' wide and yes, I guess you can say they are kinda close like any city. Considering what the department came onto when pulling up to the scene they did a great job of saving the houses that needed saving. The house that was engulfed, that didn't have a chance. Luckily, all 3 homes were evacuated safely and residents were able to find places to stay with friends or relatives.
That isn't an easy job for anyone and not everyone can handle the FF or EMS jobs.

4:30 Fountain Statues not Fire Fighters who actually move their feet to change the Angle of Attack to get the water on the burning material.
4:55 Then more Fountain Statues move in to help. This shows No Work Ethic at all let alone a strong one!
6:50 The fire seems to be getting bigger in that garage. Maybe the other Fountain Statues should get back to standing and squirting.
9:00 Here they come. Now they should Really knock that tire down!
I'm a Third Generation Fire Fighter that actually Got The Job DONE! This is pathetic! The worst part is, you will find this kind of performance throughout the American fire Disservice!

JB- A few things to consider before you judge. (First)-I shoot news footage- these are short clips ,and do not show everything.. (Second)- The house on the left and on the right were attacked from the inside and extinguished quickly. The house in the middle was Fully involved when they arrived. The Immediately went to Defensive attack. As you can see the middle house is unsafe keeping the firefighters at a safe distance. (Third),-You Do not see the crews behind the house working to extinguish.

I wouldn't bother even TRYING to defend your actions or the actions of the departments to some armchair FF who knows everything. Just like water on a duck's back let it go.
