I have a small pop top (Trigano) with two bench seats which are awful to sleep on. As a solo caravaner - I've removed one of the bench cushions and replaced with a small bunk bed mattress (about 5 cm wider than the cushion). Massive improvement and can still use the mattress as a bench seat.

Safety equipment in cars is Is becoming more extensive and with extra weight, towing capacity reduces. With electric cars rising in popularity, light towing vans are the option to choose with a new EV.
