The accent changing is actually a sign of intelligence. It’s adaptability to your surroundings and shows the ability to learn other languages.
If you spoke Arabic, you would know that she doesn't actually speak the language. Just several phrases. And even then, not well pronounced

@@kmg91 i live in France and i'm not french and i speak 4 languages i change my language but never my accent ! It just shows how unstable people are and how weak their character is when they change their accents. Notice Lindsay here? Whenever the reporter pointed out her accent , she changed it back to normal. I don't know which dumb person speaks 4 languages at 19. Bisous
@@KoukounaChess it depends on person. I'm from Canada. And lived in India for 6 years. My accent did change abit as I spoke two languages there. I also speak French. If you live for so long in a place certain words can be changed. Mine has abit. It's not a major change but people back home in Canada do notice a slight difference. It depends on person to person no need to get worked up for a small subject matter.
@@KoukounaChess I've lived in differnt places my accent changed not completly. but the words you choose and pronounciation change a bit. I would suggest you look up psychology of it. People naturally and sub consciously mimic accents in native language to display bonding and empathy/understanding. Personally When I went home people thought I talked funny for a month or two. I didnt personally notice the difference but others did. Its not about speaking other languages it's about how you speak the same Language differently to differnt people.
Sounds like she's one of those people who has accents rub off on them very easily.
If I recall, her English accent in that film where she meets her twin was pretty convincing.

Amelia Evans yeah there’s actually science behind people’s accents changing after being around certain dialects for awhile. I used to have a slight country accent when I was little living out in the country. Then I moved to the city when I was 9 where I was told that I needed to speak “proper”, so I adopted a different way of talking. Then I moved to South Georgia where there’s thicker accents than what I had and mine came back a little. I’m back in the city again, so when I’m around friends and family I have my normal southern accent, but when I’m in public I use my “customer service voice” and talk more “proper”.
Amelia Evans accents can change yes, I did it through my childhood having moved and traveled to different countries. People however are picking her apart because of what she did to that Muslim family.

People who hate on her supposedly "fake" accent have no idea about how human language actually works and probably only speak English. It's no secret that learning another language or living in a foreign country where you're constantly surrounded by people whose accents are different from yours can lead to some alterations in the way a person speaks and/or uses their native language. It could happen to anybody. People who pick up accents are also naturally gifted at acquiring different sounds and this is a sign of potential talent in foreign language acquisition.

To be fair most peoples accents change when they immigrate, all my family in the states now all have an American twang.
She seems very present and in the moment, looks like she's doing much better. You can see she still knows how to be natural in an interview too

Growing up watching the remake of the Parent Trap with Lindsay and following her Career. I'm so sad. She was so beautiful and healthy and now she just looks so old. Definitely should have left her face alone. She was beautiful the way she was, smh. Beauty standards

I can relate. My accent changes depending on my environment. I don't do it on purpose but it just happens naturally. When I catch myself, I try to correct it but I have trouble doing so. My accents ranges from country, chicana, and American. Lol!

I can Relate. Some people can pick up on accents like crazy fast. If I hear a Australian or British or Spanish I pick it up quickly and sometimes accidentally with no thought to it have that accent. It’s not unheard of

My mom is originally from Ohio. She talks southern while we all live at home where were from, but as soon as her family comes in from Ohio......her voice changes back without even realizing. Lol i know alot of people that do that. People that travil alot catch themselves doing that. Im glad to see her makeing progress and growing as an individual.

I’m Arabian American. When I’m not in the US and I’m in an Arab country, some Arabs don’t necessarily understand the American accent. We talk quick and we eat a lot of our letters like the letter T in water for example. I have to speak differently to communicate with some of my family members. I completely understood where she was coming from when the incident happened. You need to speak clearly in areas where English isn’t the first language and pronounce all the letters.
She’s done something to her jaw or neck that makes her look a lot different and older.. all that plastic surgery and years of drugs and alcohol ruined such a beautiful person.

I know people who change there accent according to who they’re speaking too. Or if they hang around people with a certain accent the start to mimic them without knowing it.
I change accents dependant on where I'm living. The "baseline" is the same but there is a tweak. I think people just do this to adapt and fit in on a subconscious level?

I know this video is old but accents change after time if being around people with different accents. My sister is married to a man from a different country than hours and she now speaks a lot like him until we bring it up and she realizes it 😂
Is it me or she looks old. As for the accent thing, it happens to me so I believe her, when you're around a certain group of people or you travel often to places where the language changes, you tend to pick up an accent after a long while.
