I don't think it would be best for time attacks but the Nercylla Hbg seems pretty good, 330 raw, 40% affinity, pierce 2 on siege, some recoil, and 2 slots. It just doesn't have any slicing ammo, but the damage it does compared to other guns is pretty good.
Its cause p1 does more damage. It also depends how large the monster is. Also 367 on daora hbg and 357 attack on zin hbg. U can have 100% crit on those guns.
Recoil +1 to use pierce while in siege. Pierce up extra damage to pierce shots for p1 and p2. And mad affinity to counter the negative affinity. I really like shot booster cause it extends your bullets critical distance so u can keep shooting if the monster is far.

In one video he has a set that has Pierce up, Weakness Exploit, Shot Booster, crit eye + 2 and crit boost. Armor: Hayabusa feather Glyph Chest XR Lagiacrus Guards x Silver Solcoat XR and Akantor XR. I believe the charm is a Tenderizier +6 with 3 slots
You need to first get the “bone shooter” HBG and level it up until you can turn it into the nibelsnarf HBG, then upgrade that HBG a bit. Until you can make the lagiacrus HBG, then after you upgrade that, the zinogre HBG will pop up, grab it and upgrade it with low rank zinogre mats, then high rank, then hyper zinogre (high rank) mats, then G rank, then finally G rank hyper zinogre. It’s a hell of a grind

Well it depends heavily on charms, but the armor you can use would be silver rathalos with a pierce up + 5 000. This set will give u weakness exploit, challenger +1, crit up. You're going to gem in shoot booster and pierce up if you can.

always use valor for hbg. in multiplayer normal shots are not good, its only good offline for mizu. you can use it however u want tho
