Great video and I'm really impressed the the detail on maximizing the speed of the runs. I get that as a ration this is close 40% longer but i find a group of spammy LS users can still do this in 2:15 to 2:30. In a day of hunting that can add up to a big difference in loot but it also requires no real skill or practice or purpose built sets. The point on me writing this was not to criticize or change your mind or anything. I just thought those who don't gun or are feeling like this is daunting might want to know that it's still easy enough to do melee with randoms fairly easily.
I know this video is a bit old, but I found ways to optimize this slightly over the course of my runs. One thing about your method using 2 traps is that a good room of gunners can deal over the required amount of damage to capture brachy before it goes into the second trap. However, if you instead sleep brachy, sheathe, move closer and ledge reload your para shots, fire once it wakes up, load the fourth para shot, and then move closer before paraing it before it roars, it gives you enough time to load your triblasts before placing a pitfall. Then, just before it falls into the pitfall, you can fire your triblasts at its head, scroll to your tranq shots, and activate Full House 2 as soon as it fills up. You can then fire your tranq shots, fire one more triblast to KO brach, and then unload Cluster shots to finish the run. It's hardly faster but after practicing it, it's consistent for both HBGunners with optimal gear and unoptimal gear and it captures brach at the closest time that it can be captured

I would actually keep any Rare 6 or lower charms you might get, since you can just toss them into the Melding Pot to make more Timeworn and Enduring Charms while you do more Hame charm runs! As for me, the closest thing I have to a god charm is a Tenderizer +6, Expert +7 with no slots. With a 3 slot weapon and the JhoCeana set, I can just barely create a "perfect" DPS set, consisting of Critical Eye +3, Sharpness +2, Razor Sharp, Weakness Exploit and Critical Boost.
Just a small question about the HBG set, is Crit+2 better or the Chaincrit? cause I see many builds that rely on the hayabusa feather and not chain crit :C
Idk if you still reply to this thread but could you please explain how to do the reload cancel stuff again? I kept trying and no fruit. I can only jump off the cliff and reload for 2 sec then shoot. Thx
Takes practice. Just solo the quest, go into the next area from base and continually practice off those cliffs. Once you think you have it down, abandon. Then try with other hunters.
My disabler armor sets is different but i have same skills & charm. -Barrage Earrings -Grand Chaos Brigandine -Vespoid Guards X -Diablos Coat X -Hermitaur Leggings XR -Sheating+6 OOO
Thanks for the guide. Why do you need recoil+2? With either recoil+1 or recoil+2, god's archipelago with silencer installed has the same recoil shooting para lv2.
@@Necros554 I'm way too late to help you, but I noticed there are some fairly recent comments on here too so I thought I'd clarify why anyone else may find the same results as you as its not really mentioned in the video. If you attach a silencer to a gun it reduces the recoil level of all shots by 1. So you're right that you need Recoil +3 for the shots, but Recoil +2 and a silencer gives you the same thing without need for the extra skill points. You lose some attack with the silencer, but you're only using status shots, and sometimes crag shots which are fixed damage and not based on the gun's attack stat so there is not really a downside to using one.
Yet another question, I try to get the Gods Archipelago but my technique seems so awful to get it. Any tips where I should farm the rust shards for it?

Really good method.. but spoils the fun of mhgu. People applying this method in the lobby are just grinding over and over with no fun, and they will kick you out if you perform poorly

Yep its pretty much only 1 status gunner and 3 hbgs with zin or daora, if not it's an instant boot with randoms

I ve made some tests you definitely use recoil+3 and not +2 as said in the video. So this is really mandatory...
