When have you seen him make a filmic, artistic video? I think he talks mostly about utility and specs, But honestly these cameras are just tools and it takes the artist behind the camera to make it look great

Finally, someone represented these lenses properly. I have been scouring CZcams for good content on these APO primes. I cannot wait to get my 32mm EF lens tomorrow to pair with my speedbooster and use with my C70. These lenses look incredible. It was on sale right now for $649.

Sehr angenehmes Filmmaterial, man war einfach dabei... schade das der Metabones immer dazwischen war, ich bin zwischenzeitlich von diesen Adapterlösungen weg. Egal, die GH6 scheint richtig gut zu sein/werden...

Hey, das hört man gerne, danke! Ja das mit dem Adapter verstehe ich. Der hat dann doch mehr Chromatische Aberrationen produziert, als man sich das gewünscht hätte. Wollte aber einfach meine geliebten Cine Optiken nutzen :)

These are excellent shots and really show what a MFT Censor is capable of. Background Bokeh is beautiful and when you consider several factors in the image you’ve captured…first, The size of the kit you shot with, the SLR Magic MP Lenses can be carried around in a small bag….and next is the ridiculous cost of it all!! Adding to a 2200 camera, a kit of lenses that cost what?… less than $1600, and a speed booster, no stabilizer rig needed, shooting in almost 6k?? Someone actually posted a review, suggesting this camera would be a “FLOP”, but capturing buttery smooth slow motion, and the ability to achieve great DOF, regardless of the need by many to compare it to a FF Sensor, this camera is on my short list and it will be on many others as well, and many just might have FF Cameras. But all of this in a round about way comes back to why, the Super 35mm has been, and always will be the Gold Standard. I have a camera that has a Super 35mm Sensor, with an MFT Mount. Most MFT Glass works great but I can use smaller lighter glass as well as with the use of Speed Booster, many other manufactures Full Frame glass. It’s literally is the best combination of Mount-to-Sensor application. And that’s a plus for the GH6!! It allows for such a wide variety of lens choices. But if Panasonic really wants to drop a bomb….let them do what JVC did with their GY-LS300, I have two I still use as my workhorse cameras, and add a Super 35mm Sensor the GH6…the “ GH6s’ “. It would be about as perfect a Camera as you could find! And I’d still keep the MFT Sensor in the lineup, make them both! But for now, I really like the GH6. I loved your “Morning Walk” shots!

Finally first video where I see gh6 footage looks nice color graded and shot with metabones speedbooster. Does it have any dual iso? what is max iso usable to get clean low light image with vlog profile?
I also shot many photos with my Lumix s1 actually. Did you take any photos with these lenses via speedbooster? does it look cool? AF for photos works good?
Die Panasonic GH 6 bietet eigentlich genau die Sachen was die große Sony A7sIII bietet (sie kann sogar noch 5.7K), man zahlt bei der Sony also fast nur für den Vollformat Sensor über 2000 Euro mehr. Ich finde Panasonic hat eine super Kamera mit grandiosem Preis rausgebracht :)

Eigentlich hätte ich von den Daten her gesagt, nö, da ich ne GH5s habe, brauch ich die GH6 nicht. Aber die Slomo in 4k sieht schon echt hammer aus!
Is the GH6 better image quality than Pana AU EVA1?
Sehr schönes Footage Martin, trotzdem hat es diese digitale Schärfe, die nicht so schön ist finde ich. Bei den Closeups fällt es weniger auf.
Ja, das Material ist schon super crisp. Bin ja auch eher Fan von softeren Bildern, aber es gibt sicherlich Leute, die Freude an der krassen Schärfe haben.
Dieser super softe vintage look kommt davon das die kameras einfach noch nicht so gut waren. Ich finde mann sollte den alten scheiss endlich hinter sich lassen. Scharf ist gut und ich finde das footage in keinster weise überscharf. Das is nun mal 5.7k! Das kann nicht aussehen wie 480 p und das ist auch gut so.
@@castielvargastv7931 ich rede hier nicht unbedingt von Pixelanzahl sondern 1. Der Größe und Qualität der Pixel und 2. von dem allgemeinen Imagerendering des Bildes. Durch die kleine Sensorgrösse und Art, wie z.B. Bäume und Blätter gerendert werden, entsteht für mich ein sehr 'digitales' und künstliches Bild. Vergleich das mit ner Alexa LF oder ner Pocket 6k und es ist ziemlich deutlich. Ich drehe selber am meisten mit der Ursa 4.6K G2 und kriege damit zwar sehr scharfe Bilder aber sie haben trotzdem diesen organischen, lebensnahen Look. Das meine ich mit digitaler Schärfe.
@@NicolasWaldvogel ich sehe das nicht. Besonders nicht bei der blackmagic. Das eine sündteure alexa vielleicht noch ein besseres bild hat kann ich mir natürlich vorstellen. Irgendwo muss der preis ja herkommen. Piceldichte ist übrigens bei einer canon r5 ziemlich genau die selbe und da beschwert sich auch keiner.
@@castielvargastv7931 ist wohl Geschmacksache. Bin auch kein Fan der R5 aus den gleichen Gründen obwohl bei der der grössere Sensor und etwas mehr DR hilft. Hängt immer davon ab, was man selber für Projekte dreht.

Running into your channel when i was searching for c200 footage. Somehow i still felt the C200 is more filmic/cinematic/Movie-ish compared to all these mirrorless/DSLR types of cameras given so many features are offered such as IBIS, codecs, high resolutions, anamorphic support...etc. What's your thoughts about that? Thanks for the video.
Hey, I definitely know what you mean. I feel the same way for almost all of the mirrorless cameras in the market. Compared to proper cinema cameras I always think something is missing in the image, but I can't put my finger on it. Nevertheless the GH6 is an amazing camera, especially when you look at the price point.
The way the sensor of all c line pickup the light is special, it has a soft curve .. combined with deep natural color, also the noise is fine... gives a cinematic image but u have to find the sweerspot of the sensor... a7s3 or a74 when setup right it will also produce a filmic image... but this gh6 is also phenomenal it’s has a natural image
The C200 can look videoish also if you don't know what you're doing. I'm sure the cinema cameras have a bit of an edge on IQ but remember this is a 2000+ run and gun camera that surpasses the C200 in specs. The cinematic look has more to do with lighting, color grading, set design, lens choices etc.. If you're shooting a high budget movie and want something movie-ish or highly filmic, I wouldn't even use the C200, I would rent an Arri Alexa or RED.
@@roscosart1888 Appreciate it for the heads up and suggestions. I'm now torn among C200, Sony PMW-F3 and Red One MX. I seem to see the vibes i'm looking for even from simple footage out of these three while at the same time Affordable for my NOT so deep pockets. It seems C200 will be the wise option among the options. Just decided to spend $45 on local rental company and will do some test against my S1 & Bmpcc OG to see if it's worth 3k on a already 800 hrs unit.
@@atmospherelight Cool!! I've worked with the Red mx, image quality is fantastic but lowlight is a problem. Definitely need lights. I've done videography and event work with C200, good image also but never tested it's raw capabilities. The F3 has a good filmic image also but It's big and 1080p only. I think what's more important is using what you have and creating a bunch of short films with it, especially if it's just going on CZcams. I would just focus on lighting, story, set design, sound, acting etc. This is where you build more of your skillset that can lead you to work on film sets. If I was offered a budget for indies, I would rent these cameras. Keep your hybrid for BTS photo or use it as a B/C video cam. Owning a big camera with great IQ is just a small piece of the filmmaking puzzle. There's a reason why some movie/tv show credits are 10 minutes long.
was thinking of getting this camera with the metabones to buy some cine lenses from rokinon as i am on a budget, when you use that adapter what's the conversion like? for example the 25mm what does it become?
It's the 0.71x Converter so it would behave like a 18mm ca.

Nur einen variablen ND Filter von B+W, kein Tiffen Pro Mist o.ä.
Ah du meintest ja auf dem Video/Color Grading. Ja, ich habe eine ganz leichte Orange/Teal Lut bei ca. 30% Opacity. Ansonsten nur eine V-Log to Rec709 Lut und kleine Kontrastanpassungen. Nichts wildes.

Anderen ist sie zu scharf. Da siehste mal wieder, jeder guckt anders. Man kann auch erkennen, was solche Kommentare wert sind- wenig.

I know what you mean. But you can always soften a little in post or use diffusion filters.
Lol you dont know what you are talking about. Panasonic image looks much better than sony and not worse than any other camera in this prise range or twice the price.
