I consider Metallica to be one of the most cerebral heavy metal bands in the business. The lyrics to this song are haunting but brilliant at the same time. Vasc's interpretation brings the same brilliance and stays true to the songs core sound. To be able to cover the greatest heavy metal band of all time is nothing such of amazing. Rating: * * * * *

Ok this young man is simply a frat singer. I listened to 3 covers And Amazing Grace and he's right on spot in ever video.How is it I enot been blessed to hear his voice or even his name prior to 15minutes ago? He's talented beyond the norm. And the world should be subjected to hear him and he should be rewarded with all the pleasures and riches that the profession has to offer. He's well deserving and has more to offer than many of the do called talents of today!

I recently just found your videos. I first have to say that I apologize for commenting on like 3 of them in half an hour, but each one elicits a different response. Your musical talent is undeniable, but that isn't the most impressive thing. I have never even heard of a guy who could do Art Garfunkle, followed iconic Steve Perry, followed by iconic Freddie Mercury, followed by a metal band (not my wheelhouse). It's truly incredible. Just discovered Dan a couple months ago. Have no idea where I’ve been!! But I’m trying to make up for lost time by going thru his whole catalog. Along with his amazing vocals, passion for the song and his story telling is phenomenal. He becomes the song and he draws you into the song too. This one was epic.

Did anyone ever tell you that you can be scarry as all hell? I mean, holy horrors. The way you perform this (and it is a performance) reminds me of all the night terrors I have had all my life. So a big thanks for that. Pretty sure I'll be having bad dreams that involve your face snarling at me from some black recesses in my mind. Where in the Hell did you learn to give off the TOTAL INSANITY VIBES? Dude, the first time I watched this video, I had a panic attack!! I couldn’t look at your eyes for part of the song! Then I started crying That’s NOT YOUR FAULT at all! I’m a 65 year-old lady with a family, but long ago, I was engaged to a guy who became an alcoholic, then lost his mind. Completely. He became paranoid, then threatening, then his eyes would glaze over when he went into one of his rages. You pretty much had that same look during part of the song. 5:13 I got out of that hell as soon as I could, but I was only 21, and in college, and I was unsure at first whether anyone would even believe me. Then my roommate told me that he had called her to warn her he was going to kill me for leaving him. I ended up confiding in my uncle (an attorney), who got a restraining order against him, but my entire last year of school was absolute hell, and my ex spent the majority of that year shooting out our porch light, like once a week. We ended up with some bulletholes on the outside of the house, which infuriated the landlord!
Ladies, if anyone ever looks at you that way and IS NOT a performing artist, please run like hell and get help!! Consider that my public service announcement!!
I’ve since watched the video half a dozen more times, and I’ve even grown to enjoy the excellent performance. I just wasn’t ready for my reaction to hit me so hard that very first time! Dan, you are truly a master performer, and you only continue to get even better with time!
