Amazing Grace led me here, too. I was so awe-inspired. I actually couldn't remember how I even came across this. He did The Sound of Silence rather well. It sounded exactly like Disturbed.

I love these guys that can really belt out a song while staying completely in tune. Absolutely brilliant. Australian singer Jimmy Barnes is a brilliant “ Screamer “. I recommend. River Deep, Mountain High.

I was told about this metal singer who had an incredible voice by my 89 year old mother who watched your Amazing Grace cover. She then continued down the CZcams rabbit hole and watched a BUNCH of your other covers and told me I had to go listen to you because your voice was so good. So here I am. Down the same CZcams rabbit hole listening to your videos and being in awe. I’m a 63 year old child of the 80’s rock legends so it’s hard to get me to subscribe to allot of the new artists. I’m not a metal music fan but am a fan of someone who can truly sing and control their voice right down to the control it takes to scream, (vocal fry, distortion, compression or whatever term you want to give it),out a song and still maintain control, tone, pitch, etc. I’m your newest fan. I’m convinced my 80’s music rivals would be impressed with your amazing talent.

I tested you on this, by closing my eyes and just listening. Freddie had a once in a million year voice. We just found number two. This is such an incredibly hard song to sing, and yet with my eyes closed it was extremely difficult to tell the difference. Listened to your Living on a Prayer, Amazing Grace (just WOW). What makes a song special is whether your just singing the words, of feeling them. It's clear from the power and conviction you sing with, the words come from a place in your soul not many can achieve. Don't ever lose that, it makes you very special indeed. You send chills down my spine, and that is rare.
I'm with you. I've always said Freddie had the greatest voice in rock 'n roll, by far. I just found this channel after hearing his Amazing Grace which brought chills and tears. I love music and it's always been a huge part of my life but it's rare for me to get chills from a song but when I do, there's a reason. This guy's voice is beyond words, like Freddie's was.

He had offers and in one of his CZcams interviews he explained that he just wanted to do CZcams and keep life simple. He would be on top for sure. Listen to Nessun Dorma. He is a trained opera singer. Could easily perform at the Met.
Another reason Dan sticks to CZcams is he is not going to let anyone tell him what to sing or how to sing it. He does Dan style in whatever he does.

When it comes to covers of the incredible vocals of Freddie Mercury and the overall magnitude of the band as a whole I judge covers harshly as their standard of quality is difficult to meet. You sir, in my humble opinion, would have been well received by Freddie and his band members. As to me, bravissimo 👏!!!

I love covers like this when you can tell the person is clearly having fun. The part with all the different cameras and him making the funny faces honestly was my favorite, just seeing his enjoyment and fun makes the whole song.
