A new favourite of mine is the Uniball Shalaku 0.7 mm mechanical pencil (The one you showed for demonstrating a mechanical pencil's structure). I bought it for Rs.60
I'm in 12th (maths science) and for us 0.5 mm is the best because we need precision in geometry which is not possible in higher mm. I think you should told us about this because 0.5 mm is good for doing geometry work, especially in Ray optics.
Also include Artline auto mechanical pencil of 20 rupees I think that is best as I bought it before 4 years and still using it without any problem Very smooth clicking and high quality build and great design 🤡

Friends, leave everything, just buy the uniball one! Their pencil grp is soo soft and comfortable! It doesn't even break man! I m using 1 since 1 year now, it has dropped many times(Harshly) by now, still, it's perfect! No deformation! Even the grip of the pencil on the lead hasn't been damaged yet! It's just super OP! I have 3 of em', n I love em'!

Keep rotating your grip while you're writing, it'll help to keep your lead sharper

0.9 mm is best neither too thin that it’ll break nor too thick that you have to sharpen its lead and take the risk of ruining your sharpener

I used cello Supreme, the lead guard was very loose, where it easily slid back into the body. So I recommend to avoid that model.
