I think I'm going to be a bit sad when they add Restricteds, just because it feels like there's so much more Reg F can develop.
Lower power level is more fun imo
@@ryanmahon1 I don't know if it was Series 1 or 2... (A or B) but I remember being real sad when it left because it felt like RIGHT at the end, we were figuring a bunch of stuff out.
Low power can suck too, I remember that series during Sword and Shield where they banned like top 20, and it was fun at first, but man... it got oooold.

Regulation F is so stressful, i build one team, modify it, then next day it doesnt work. Unorthodox pokemon r needed but theyre too specific

I hate the ranked ladder right now, a good meta pick is Zapdos Galarian, Thunderous Kick one shots bulky physical Incineroar after Defiant boost with 116 Atk EV investment, give it 236 EVs in Speed and rest in bulk, it has answers to many of the threats
That's the beauty and the horror of NatDex 😅 (with a gimmick that actually makes MORE pkmn viable)

I have felt that all of gen 9 has been moving too fast, but the acceleration has definitely increased since Worlds
My biggest issue with it is that once they add restricteds where does it go? Even if they keep their breakneck pace of releasing a new mainline game every 3ish years we have a whole year before the next game comes out. Top 10 ban list? Full teams of restricteds?
Id argue Reg D after worlds didn’t actually see much innovation, and Reg E was pretty normal. Reg F though completely blew the speed out of the water

There is the option of terastalization too since bug would be valuable for its offense over defense here. Tera Bug Heatran comes to mind. Our biggest problem for bug types is Incineroar really since so many bug moves are physical.

I've been exploring this concept some more and the biggest problem I found with it is just how ineffective bugs are against the dark types. Strong Neutral hits are good and all but unless you're a specs Vikavolt or Volcarona it isn't worth it. And speaking of Volcarona, it's fire typing is more valuable than it's bug typing. It's the only bug type, including terastalization, who might make a meta impact.
Also Incineroar's Fire+Dark STAB coverage ironically makes it just as effective as the bug types. Which is interesting because it's also the best tera-bug leech life spammer.

As somebody living in India, having no access to tournaments with open team sheets since Pokemon is obscure here, playing on the ranked ladder against janky stuff is just ruining the fun, I have seen crazier things like Normal tera, normal gem Explosion Metagross and Flutter Mane lead etc. I hope we get tournaments in India some day in future.
use showdown, using the actual game outside of tournament is 100% pointless
@@marcellomancini6646 Also, switch is really expensive, because it costs the same as it costs in dollars in US. So, it's just not worth it, you'd probably buy a ps or something instead of switch.
Do you do any tours on Limitless?
Showdown BO3 Ladder is going to be your best bet. It’s automatically open team sheet and the same format as tournaments, so it’s your best way to emulate playing in real tourneys.

Balance is rising and I'm all here for it! I love this format because there not any centralizing teams. Teams with a wide variety of tools when positioned well are highly rewarded.
I feel like teal mask ogerpon is a little underrated because of how well the Fire and Water forms have done. That instant speed boost is insanely useful

Casual VGC watcher here (notably, not an actual player). Rock Ogrepon rising in use makes sense to me between Sturdy and the defense boost when terra'd in a physical attacker rise as well as Torn being basically omnipresent and Fire types on the rise, Rock type attacks sound like a nice thing to have. It has a lot of things going for it
