Man, I'm a life long fan. I saw the best show in NYC, they were to open for Billy Idol at Madison Square Garden. Billy Idol had a motorcycle accident and the show was on hold but the CULT, went and played the RITZ in NYC. I was against the stage all night, Ian, is hitting his tambourine, I'm up front and he gives it to me. Says; " Motherfucker. you deserve it! I deserved it and got it! Thank you Ian! I still have it! I'm a pure CULT fan!
Ian Astbury sounds AMAZING! Still! Been listening to him since 1995 and he just keeps amazing me with his great awesome vox! Duffy still cool as ever.. great band. Very underrated! Still one of my favs!!
Best solo Billy ever wrote. Seen the Cult many times. I wish Ian would sing the songs more like they were on the record. He often is a beat forward or ahead in his delivery. I know that's how he likes to do it, but IMO, it lessens the impact of the vocals in the key moments of the song.
Gotta love a song where the guitar solo lasts the entire song. Saw these guys open for Billy Idol in Norman, OK in the late 80's, at an outdoor show, they kicked Billies ass. Still remember the drive in to the show, most of the cars were sporting window paint for the Cult.

Those big Gretsch Falcons just look and sound superior to everything else.
Love both but prefer his White Falcon from the 85-86 era, especially on this tune. If you listen to the 85 Ritz show his fucking tone is unreal.
