Nikku is back with a whole remastered version of the first demo. it includes a whole new set of songs, stages, secrets, and a bunch of familiar faces. We have Ena who appeared in a mod leak last year, Monika and Yuri from Doki Doki Takeover/Doki Doki Literature Club, Majin Sonic from Sonic CD, but the one in this mod is called Mazin, Sussy Bussy from Imposter V4/V3, Xigmund from martian mixtape, Boo from Don't Get Spooked, momo gogo and many more. I'll be playing Vs Nikku on very hard mode for all VS her songs. Will GF & BF beat this new foe? or will Boyfriend & Girlfriend lose? (shh, secret yt url: xIKRVd0N3b8)

Friday Night Funkin' was a huge tribute to the stars that raised the culture of Newgrounds.
Nikku, on the other hand, seems to capture the essences of CZcams's ever growing themes.

I like how the whole gimmick is that Nikku takes the vocals of other characters that BF has faced and even uses their own songs(if slightly changed). It's really unique and it's a cool concept, nice work :D

When you stop to consider that this mod alone has more songs in it the all of original Funkin', its truly staggering to think how far mods and the game as a whole has come. The highest of props to these artists who keep delivering us these masterworks of art and music. I can only hope that the full FNF game can live up to the legend that the fans have already crafted.

The insane amount of love this mod has for other mods is astonishing. Not only are there references to beloved mods, but remixed amazingly. And it's only a demo is mind blowing.
Peak fnf modding, the cameos and nods to other mods are packed neatly, but killer queen is literal god tier.
God has nothing to do with this, but the mod is certainly high on the list of fun sounding tracks.

Dude, rewatching each section has so much strewn about that I constantly find something I missed entirely. The Sonic.exe transition has Snapcube's Eggman as background vocals and I adore it. This mod is a fever dream and I'm here for it.

Gotta love how ambitious this mod is! Despite it being unfinished. it’s a lovely tribute to Friday Night Funkin. The ARG-aspect of it makes it much engaging that I’d end up seeing Game Theory involved. If the story mode is completed, I’d consider this mod a game of it’s own!

this might just be my second favorite mod yet, and yes i can have multiple indie cross just came out i cant make up my mind. but seriously, all of the sprites in this mod are so clean, the charting is super fun to play, all of the music is super good, and the rest is really great. it all combines really well, and its crazy story mode isnt even done, yet we have dozens of songs in this mod already. all of the love and effort is definitely visible and its all extremely well done

Saruky's music is always so BANGIN'! Even with all her contributions to fnf, I still hella feel like she's underrated.
I love this mod so much. What made it for me was seeing the song called "Mirror Magic" and thinking "no way that could be a refernce to Celeste's B-Side mirror temple mix name.
Then the Mirror Temple motif kicked in and I knew this was only gonna get better.
I wish it was a celeste reference. It was a fun game. Strawberries, inner demon, and platformering.

This is just awesome! I realized while playing Expurgated that at 39:20, the piano and vocal melodies you hear from this point are from a song called "Crystallized" by camellia. Once I recognized it, I was just hit with excitement. Frickn' 11/10 mod!

even after a year i still would consider this as one of the best mods released
weve gotten so much more high effort mods since this came out but this is still up there as one of the greats
amazing music, great artwork, secrets, so many references, and its only a demo
I’m pretty sure that the secrets have something to do with ena, given all the visual parallels, including how the riffs are laid out on the secret song are exactly like in ena’s song.
The secret song at the end definitely has ENA vibes

This is genuinely a fantastic mod to see you play, and I feel like the mod has much more in store. Only thing I wish the song Mirrormagic and Hyperlink song had is when she takes BF's note for their own that it should take some health away depending on how long they would do it for.

I love how after the Sonic.exe mod and Indie Cross, we get to see many high effort mod like this one and many mod also get longer like 1 hour to finish the entire mod

I feel Hyperfunk was inspired by Hideki Naganuma’s work, I would love to see a mod that has the style of music through the whole thing.
22:53 it is. You can actually hear “ain’t nothing like a funky beat” really cool, definitely inspired
If you actually listen closely, some of the first beats in the instrumental of Hyperfunk are actually referencing Giorno’s Theme
seeing xigmund in a big mod like this is very surreal because i have a personal history with the character and his creator
anyway this mod is genuinely something special. it warms my heart to see such a high quality love letter to a community that has a lot of downs, but when it shines, it glows, and i think that's showcased brilliantly in this mod. it's also topped off with tons of other references, a really cool lore and story, not to mention passion, love, care, and quality dripping from every corner.
this is my new favorite mod. i hope more follow in its footsteps, because the magic this fandom can create when they're passionate about something is unreal.

Absolutely awesome and hilarious mod. I love how nikku can switch voices at will, EVEN BOYFRIENDS. I love how they actually used eggmans announcement as an instrumental in one of the sections. Everything about this mod has blown me away so far. (Im at 29:58 Btw)
Imagine a whole Hotline 024 Animated Series
I have a theory of what is happening in this world:
The world Nikku lived in is a simulation, slowly breaking apart. Also i think Matzi is the God, she appears in the game over screen, she's the only thing that keep the entire simulation running, and seemingly, someone or something has broke the simulation, causing the entire simulation to go absolutely apeshit.
Nikku's switching voices thing is because she doesn't have a voice and copies other people's
I think matzu is a hotline operator for dialogue between aliens and humans, equally trading them, that’s why phase 2 has messages like “you can’t escape” or something like that
Nikku was chosen to be sent to earth for experiments by higher ups and matzu is in trouble because nikku escaped

God, this mod is so epic and awesome! I especially love some of the memes you can hear in the background of some of the songs, and even some of the references in the music itself, like being able to hear Down to the Bone in the background after the Stronger Than You reference in Fandomania, and then later Green Hill Zone in the same song! This one will be a mod I'll remember for a long time for good reasons!
