      It looks like you will need to install crowsnest in order to make changes after the initial install. here is the link - crowsnest.mainsail.xyz/setup/installation . I haven't tried this myself, so let me know how you go :)

    Hello! I would like to ask if the a web cam like yours, will work in OrcaSlicer Device tab?

    I followed all the steps correctly but after I typed reboot, the Mainsail web interface didn't show up. The printer went offline for a bit and it was active back again but nothing happened afterwards. Any ideas? I restarted the putty window several times but that didn't work either.

      Damn sorry to hear you are having issues. Did you make sure your printer firmware is up to date? If so, you may have to try restoring to factory settings. Here is a link on how to do that :) guilouz.github.io/Creality-Helper-Script-Wiki/firmwares/reset-factory-settings/

    Would there be any modification to install an extruder with more colors on the ender 3 v3 ke? up up up

    • @LayerLabAustralia
      @LayerLabAustralia  Před měsícem +1

      I've seen something called a 3d Chamelion which doesn't look overly user-friendly, and then there is the Co-Print multi-filament module, but it costs about the same as a Bamboo Lab A1 with multi-filament combo at around $770, so not worth it. At this stage, manual filament swap is about as good as you are going to get :(

    Hey, very random issue I'm facing here. I have a nebula camera but for some reason the camera feed on creality cloud just isn't displaying. I can control the printer from an external internet source but the camera only works when I'm connected to the same WAN. I've already configured my router firewall to allow out/in for the printer, I've also setup port forwarding on port 8080 and 21 but still nothing. Any thoughts on what to try next would be appreciated.

    • @LayerLabAustralia
      @LayerLabAustralia  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Yeah, I have that same problem. I think there is something wrong with the service on Crealities side of things... A work around is to install the octoeverywhere service using the installer script I use in this video. It is a free service that allows you to monitor your camera feed outside your network. Should do the trick :)

      Sorry to hear you are having issues 😕 it does work, but I guess some webcams are not compatible either way you try and install them. Best to just get a creality webcam so you don't run into any compatibility problems.

      @@LayerLabAustralia The camera part does work, but the moonraker server in the printer does not work, as when its downloading its not able to get its dependencies, this problem is present for both option 2 and 3 of the install menu.
      Now i view the camera with the creality web interface, but i suppose the moonraker one was way better.
