I have an Inogen as well and other than its reliability to date it's great compared to lugging and rolling o2 tanks around with me. Not to mention that once a tank runs dry you're in trouble. The air delivery based on vacuum I really prefer to the constant flow of o2 which both dries out my sinunes and sometimes gives me a headache from the cold that comes with a standard o2 delivery machine. I've had to return the unit twice for two different failure modes so I a little concerned about that but only time will tell.
Going to try one of these for aerial survey use. Will be flying a lot of work at 9000-13,000ft, hoping this will work instead of bottled oxygen as its a pain trying to find places to refill them.
How do I know when to replace the SIEVE BEDS??
Do insurance cover this
They need representative for this item?
If no breath is detected, will it still just run continuously? Or will it stop/keep waiting?
It beeps and continues to run
Was hoping you would have taking the black filter cartridge out to see if you have the same issue as a lot of others, including my grandmother. The replacement doesn't go in even with all the cover caps being taken off.
Did you ever find out how to resolve this issue?
Many of us are on 3 or 4 or 5 lpm.
I’m not talking settings ….. I’m asking can it deliver 5 lpm?
No. It will not go that high. Maximum flow rate is 1.26 liters per minute. For more than that, you'd need either bottles (bigger last longer of course, but bulky and heavy), or you'd need an o2 concentrator that generally sits in one room of the home and has a long tube so the user can walk around the house. In my opinion, these units are primarily for low dose o2 users, or if you're traveling and not very active.
What does pulse dose mean?
Pulse dose means that as you breathe in, the unit senses each breath and that's the moment that it sends O2 to your nose cannula. It doesn't provide constant flow of O2, only when you breathe in.
What is the highest setting?
lowest setting is 1 and at that setting it puts out .21lpm (very low dosage). Highest setting is 6, which provides up to 1.26 lpm. It's very small and portable, but don't depend on it if you need constant flow above its max'.
Cost..?
Please i send it to Ghana
Does one have to purchase tanks of Oxygen with this device?
No you do not need to buy tanks. This machine will enrich oxygen for you, but you will have to replace the columns inside the device every few years (depending on various factors eg. climate, device, flow rate etc.)
@@thecpapstore Thank you for reply. Can it attach to my BiPap?
@@ASpectacular3777 yes, depending on what machine you have you will have to get a tube that can connect the oxygen. For example, resmed uses the ClimateLine Oxy tube.
My mom's machine beeps continuously and drives you nuts.
Battery full, my mom's breathing it states an issue. We only use it for car outings. Bring out the larger unit for everyday use. So annoying.
Do you have a video w tips on the column replacement. We can't seem to get it to click all the way in.
How much does unit cost?
A whole bunch. Go to their website. I have the 4 but am looking into possible the 5.
Dont buy batterys are sky HIGH..
