📜 Video Description 📜
4Bet pots are not as common as single raised pots or 3Bet pots but they are still important to your winrate due to their size and complexity. Today we examine three 4Bet pots I recently played on GG Poker as part of my
Rush and Cash Bankroll Challenge - Hry
Love the dedication
Enjoying the deep dive series - thank you, Pete!
20:00 I’ve noticed this a lot. “The Queen is more of a callers card” - can you make a video on this?
I was just thinking earlier today about the fact that I find 4-bet pots very difficult. Very timely video Pete!
Thank you for the great educational content
Nice video again. Just finished your therapy book loved it!! Currently in my biggest downswing (20 buyins in my life) so really need all the mental help there is :):) Keep up the good work. I didnt notice the glasses until you mentioned it :)
You can study poker theory 24/7 but it wont change your results if you're continually on the bad side of variance.
Loving exploring these tough spots. That first board 🥵
h1 - JJ - if youre going to turn into bluff, prob just stuff it
h2 - makes sense
Not too shabby, makes me happy! More!
Those goggles are what I wear when I brave the micros
The biggest mistakes happen in low spr pots so we should be very careful
I think if you set up your sim to GG rake, AQo and AQs will actually 4bet at a frequency vs SB 3bet.
Ty ty coach
Do you think you could beat 100z or 200z pre rakeback pete?
hand 2: it's scary when the IP 4bettor checks back a dry flop. In the moment I would also get on board with checking OTT. During review , you made a point that streets need to be bet, if not coming from villain then they should be coming from you. (i've never heard that before, maybe you would be so gracious as to briefly expand?). Anyway you decided a bet OTT would actually be preferred as you fold out all air and probably good Ahi and maybe AK. During conclusion you went back on this and said you liked your check. Is this a mixed strategy or is one play clearly better than the other here? Thanks for your time and your content,
if we're slow playing our nutted hands what do we balance our bluffs with if villain knows we never have the nuts in our betting and raising range.
Yes
Love the goggles
I think that board runout is, of course, about the worst possible runout Jacks could fear. Literally no hand you could possibly beat. I wasn't a huge fan of the minime bet on the end. Villain is getting laid pot odds where he only has to be right on a hero call 1 in 5.3 times (about 18% of the time). All KKs and QQs are going to make that crying call. But honestly even a jam is just a little worse for villain (around 27%). So ya it totally sucks but I think you have to give up on the hand. Still I appreciate the bluff attempt!
4bet pots really understudied, would like to see more
Hey Pete 🤓🤓🤓
4bet pot is much rarely and population doesn’t practice too much. Also, are you chess player 😂?In some of coaching video, you used to say chess term like”gambit”and “trade off”
A good heuristic for 4BPs is to ask yourself what your opponent is doing with all of his AK combos, since that’s usually a huge portion of a typical 4bet range. When you think of it that way you realize you can’t really fold JJ on the flop in the first hand.
Taking off the goggles was not +EV.
People who 4 bet to like 27ishbb seem like the ones to take notes on playing micro stakes. Seems like every time it’s AA KK tho. People seem to 4 bet jam jj qq AK.
first
and the biggest
Dude... Don't try so hard.
Yeah, why bother trying in life eh? Why bother learning anything?
@@thedealermusic indeed you either have it or you don't

You always tell us to avoid the sunken cost fallacy, but don’t you think a lot players will be attached to the flop and overcall with QQ/KK to a small size? You’re the population data master, so you would know best.. But i do see tons of sigh calls in these kinda spots
