Made this recipe but replaced the shrimp (bc I'm allergic) with cubed pork tenderloin and bacon bits (lots of it) and this thing tasted amazing...Used rice that as 1-2 days old and lots and lots of eggs... and even though I'm not a pro with a wok, I did use one and it made it all the better. Try it and you'll be amazed
And after playing around for half an hour... the last grain of rice remaining in the wok was served to the customer 🤣

How to cook Korean street rice:
1. Use egg, cooked rice, boiled shrimp, minced carrot, diced leeks, and oil.
2. Put it all together and stir for 45 minutes on high heat, getting half of the contents on the floor.
3. Serve what remains.

The rice and other debris on the range cleans very easily - there is a tap over the range. The surface around the burner gets flooded and washed at the end of the day. Then the water is pushed to the back where there is a drain. Takes seconds. (Also, most chefs don’t get that dramatic (messy) frying rice :)
