I just purchased a 2024 Honda HR-V EX-L AWD, (Modern Steel Dark Gray Metallic/Black Leather) and love it! I just wish Honda had more color choices for the HR-V's! As well as the engine had more power!
What other colors would you want them to add? I love the Nordic Green, very unique and upscale.

I have been watched a lot of car reviews recently, I found that your description and reviews are in details, I am more understand about this car☺ actually I love the exterior outlook of the hrv sport 2024 rather than the ex-L, but sport doesn't come with parking sensor, do u know if it can be add on? and the leather seats as well? thanks! I just bought the Honda HRV EXL and I do have a blind spot sensor🤷♀️
I have 2020 Honda HRV EX AWD, only issue i have with this car is weak engine, other than that very comfy, sporty, reliable car. considering buying this model, seems nothings much is changed, except for wireless android auto, and little more cargo space.
The one attraction for me was the NA motor (non Turbo) saving $$
Looking on dealer sites it seem blind spot monitoring is included on the EX-L level for this model.
Is there no heated steering wheel option?!
One day..... I will buy a new 24' Honda HR-V.

They gotta bring the HRV Aussie version to NA. They call it ZRV over there. Got 360 camera, hybrid power train that capable and good mpg, chrome exhaust, 10 inch digital cluster, bose audio, heated rear seat.
They sell the ZR-V in the UK, too! Hybrid is good for 181hp and 200+ lb-ft of torque, 0-60 in 7.8sec. The HR-V would be perfect with that powertrain!

@@703Speed April 22 we picked up a civic sport touring. It mostly sits in the garage waiting for the weekend errands or whatever. My company provides me with a truck for work 2020 Tacoma. My wife does not work and for the past 30 years we have only needed 1 car. Although I do hang on to a 2003 f150 leftover for when the kids were home and we had a boat.

Great review! I find it overpriced. TheTopher said it took him almost 13 seconds to do zero to 60. Other reviewers have said it took them over 11 seconds. Just too slow for me and you'll really notice the slowness when it's loaded down with your family and their cargo. For 30k, I'd rather buy the 2024 Mazda CX-5 Select trim that has more power, an actual 6 speed automatic transmission, similar fuel economy, and a more luxurious interior.
The CX5 is a great car!
The lack of rear A/C, rear charging ports, & engine power makes it a terrible choice. I love Honda, but the Corolla Cross and Mazda ones have better ones for similar pricing.
I don't see the Mazda CX-5 as being in the same category. The Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 are competitors to the CX-5. The Toyota Corolla Cross and Mazda CX-30 are in the HS-V category. Overseas both of those cars are available as hybrids and are quicker performers (the US HS-V is known elsewhere as the ZR-V and is also available in some markets with a 1.5 liter turbo engine). But if space is the main consideration yes there are several cars of lower spec that can be bought for the same money as the model tested here.

Honda did a great job with the design of the HR-V. I test drove one when I was also looking at the Civic. I would've bought one except for one fatal flaw- lack of power!
In the UK, they sell it as the ZR-V and it has a 181hp 2.0L hybrid. 0-60 is 7.8sec and it gets 47mpg! I would gladly pay another $10k for that!!!
because if you pay 10k more you get. a fully loaded crv hyrbid for 40k, nobody would buy hrv for that price
@@Cory69 I'm interested to see if the new Civic Hybrid powertrain makes it into the HR-V. They would have to keep the price down, maybe max out under $35k. And the CR-V would likey creep up in price.
I have a 2024 HRV Sport. After 3 weeks in the Alberta Canada winter weather.
1)The heat does not defrost either the front or back windows well at all. Windows remain foggy on the sides and back way too long ( it was -48+ ) But even after it warmed up it heats up too slowly inside.
2) I was using the all wheel drive alot due to the roads and weather, but this vehicle definitely consumes alot of gas. Even once it warmed up and I was in "Normal mode" I burned through fuel quickly running errands. I have not tested the Eco mode.
3) The power is fine when my wife son and I are in the vehicle. If I wanna go quick I have a Honda CIvic Touring. When I am alone it is more than adequate for ANY type of driving.
4) The AWD in Winter is fantastic.
5) The interior is gorgeous, I went with the middle trim Sport as I do not want leather seats in the winter ( Learned that from the Civic, seats bled from snow getting on them )
6) LOTS OF ROOM. They really nailed the interior. The back cargo bay is roomy as well.
I probably overpayed as I was T boned in my 2017 Civic LX Dec. 13, 2023 and needed a second vehcile immediately.
I am happy with my purchase, I love Honda as you can probably tell :) Zero Issues with either of my civics ( minus one being totaled by a bozo ).

The previous design of the HR-V was superior to this redesign IMHO.
not an Owner how can I trust that this is the car for me, ask the dealer to lend me one for the day?or find a rental . think I say thank you nad enjoyed, not a fit fan too bad the saturn/crv engine did not go in.
TURO rental or see if a dealer will let you take it home for the night. Lots of dealers will let you

ill take it minus the Leather, sunroof, and those horrendous wheels. Honda should offer a 4th trim .and call it the sport Elite. car makers need to go back to the days when you can truly add and delete features. so you can customize. and please. please.. more color choices. and just a wee bit more power for 2025

@carlchapin8352 We probably buying one tomorrow. I see plenty of them. We just purchased 2024 Civic Sport Hatchback CVT in family. I was the one supposed to be getting my 2025 Pilot Elite.
