  • This "gaming pc" the way it is sold is not a good purchase. This thing is slow and dated so save your money! If you're looking for a desktop then I will be reviewing more in the future. I will also be doing budget friendly builds both new and used.

I appreciate that! It's a good thing you didn't. I did some looking around and you can get an i5 10 series with a 1660 ti for around $200 more.

Yeah, this is a terrible deal. Definitely not worth $500. Did you find a prebuilt with that combo?if so, I'd love to know where so I could order one for a review!

Hey brother, LOVED the video! A thing I just learned is to shoot B-Roll in 60fps, even tho your video is in 30, and then put it in half speed to get a nice slow pan in the same fps as your video. The result looks amazing, you should definitely try it out see if you like it. Message me on insta if you want I can link you this channel that talks about stuff like this!

I want to build my own pc with a 3080 ti and a intel i9-10900k what other parts should I buy my budget is like 2800 and the maximum I want to spend is 3000 any tips on what I should get ?

I just build a setup using best buy and corsairs websites. 2700 (before tax/shipping) would get you a I9 10900k, 3080 ti FE, Asus mobo 590E with wifi, vengeance 64gb (4x16) 3600mhz ram, 1000w 80+ gold psu, 2x 1tb nvme ssds, 360 aio cooler, 3 additional case fans and for a case I factored in about 180. Case is preference so just thought that would be up to you. That build would be a ripper dude!

Make sure you get a solid power supply. Honestly that’s the biggest thing. At least a 750 watt. Preferably 850. Also with that budget, I’d get a reputable name brand one, don’t cheap out on a power supply, you’ll regret it. Also get one that’s 80+ gold rated or even 80+ platinum. A fully modular one is also handy too so you can use only the cables you need, and you won’t have extras crammed in your pc. A good sized case with good airflow I recommend as well. These 3000 series GPU’s run HOT. I have a micro atx case with 5 fans and even with 5 fans my 3080 gets very warm. I would not suggest any of the evga models. They don’t cool very well. Also, go with a 12900 if you can manage to. It’s worth it. An all in one liquid cooler for it would be nice as well, those aren’t too pricey, at least budget ones anyways. With that budget I’d also recommend a motherboard that supports ddr5, if you want to pay the price for ddr5 anyways. It is a little pricey since it’s still new. But going with a ddr4 motherboard would still be perfectly fine, just get a nice board that supports fast ram. SSD’s as well. Don’t even bother with a mechanical hard drive. Also, get a cable extension kit. They’re like $30, you can choose any color you want, and for such a cheap price, they make a pc look so much better

@@thehalfblacksnack dude, thanks for that input. The psu I looked up was a rx1000 corsair that is 80+ gold rated for $170. I factored in a 360 corsair aio and thinking if the case had 6 fans total then it would be good. I haven't ever messed with an FE card but I truly appreciate your info about the temps. Thanks for watching!

@@bradfordskeldorado of course! With these 3000 cards I also strongly recommend undervolting them. My card boost to 1860mhz and I was able to cut the wattage down from around 320-340 watts, to 180-200 watts and still maintain a boost of 1905-1920. I’m sure I could get it back to 1960 with about 200-220 watts but undervolting it dropped my temps by about 10c. It’s worth looking into!

I have a gigabyte 3080 on my main pc but would love to get my hands on an Nvidia card. I'm curious to see the 4000 series cards and if they have the similar issue with temps and if undercoating would help them too

Great vid man you deserve at least 100,000 subscribers.
Edit: maybe benchmarking try to show more games. An example could be Valorant. Doesn't require a lot of space, is free and adds variation in your benchmarks.
