  • Here’s the first of our promised videos sharing cultivation information, using some of our female N. robcantleyi as an example. It’s 8 minutes long and a bit ad-hoc, but if you bear with it, you’ll find out a bit about the potting media that lies under all that moss. Later we’ll be doing some more structured videos dealing with various topics, such as watering, potting media, light levels, pH, fungicide and insecticide applications etc. All the things that you might find useful, whether you’re growing Nepenthes at home for the first time, or you’re already a connoisseur. We realise of course that not everyone has a flowing size N. robcantleyi and those that do, will already have figured out things for themselves. But anyway…
If you want to see more of this type of video, please do give us a like or make a comment so we know we’re on the right track. 😊

Would love to see more species (cultivars) spotlight. To understand the needs of the hybrids better! Would love the "growing" tips...

@BorneoExotics 😅 always busy. But love al the formats you're doing... would also appreciate a long walk through all the greenhouses, to see the extend of your business.

    Hi! Im curious:
Why does my robcantleyi not have the heart shaped leaves? Its largest pitcher is about 8 inches from base to lid, but its actual leaves leading to the vine are very oval, with a slight bump at the start of the vine, im in the uk and was wondering if its normal? Most robcantleyi i see have more V or Heart shaped pitchers..

That’s interesting. They are fairly consistent in form as a rule. Where did you get it from?
