But seriously, have you even SEEN Umbrella Corps?
Difference is that most people expected Umbrella Corps to be a toilet fire.
True, however, with all these features that were supposed to be their (and they weren't) It just sucks, like Francis said, when a game fails to deliver after a lot of hype, it just hurts.
27Bayleefs I can see why people would put it as their worst of the year, but I didn't go into the game with monster expectations. It was disappointing, of course. But the game as a whole is just average at best; there were much worse games that came out this year than No Man's Sky.

I don't think Overwatch is horrible, but I really don't think it's a good game, either.
Once you play, like, five rounds, you've seen everything. It's honestly comparable to many of CoD's releases.

Yeah but playing overwatch isn't about seeing everything. Everytime you play it's different, different strategies, different opponents and a different game type. Granted I would like to choose the game type but they have the special game type change up on a regular basis and they keep updating with new characters boosts and nerfs to keep it interesting and fair.
Unique gameplay? If it wasn't a TF2 ripoff no one would playit. People like what they know and so it's familiar. I hated TF2 but enjoy Overwatch
Overwatch... overrated, overhyped.. at release small amount of content, too expensive.. basically an expensive remaster of TF2

hawks gf Is a respectable woman who needs no help not even in the slightest. the taken wallet got a rating of 4/10 by the community House of wolves got a 9/10... and even that dlc sucked but we were all hyped for it, 90$ for a beta the taken wallet came out for 40$ that stabilized the game for maybe a week then it broke again with one gun being god tier and bungie jsut flinging shit in there offices, next dlc is also 40$ isnt it? 170$ in and its still not a fun game.

Overwatch. The most overrated game in the history of the world. It's an admittedly fun little tf2 clone that costs more money and has less content and is literally less than half the game it was originally supposed to be. The entire concept of the game is completely ignored when playing no amount of the story that's not even in the game is actually important.

Hell even overwatch itself launched at 40 on pc because they knew there wasn't enough to justify 60.
We're not talking about a Blockbuster AAA game here, it's indie if anything. The content it has its cool but it's totally a $30 game at best. At least Battlefront, with its lack of content, looks and sounds pretty.

For me the great joy of Grand Theft Auto is the artistry combined with the sheer hilariously over-the-top violence, where it's not hyper realistic. Because that would take away all the fun.
A game has to be about fun first.
TF2 did it right after they looked like they were going to make a serious-looking shooter first. Then they went with the cartoon style and it's a runaway success.
It's about fun first. That should be the game designer's first question: is this fun to do.

Overwatch was and is the worst game of 2016. All it is a colorful and pretty version of arena shooters. First one that comes to my mind is Quake 3, of course I can't forget about Unreal tournament as well.

The Division almost had zero bugs on the PS4. 7.9 on pc meta and 8 on PS4 meta. With all DLC it's today a great game. Overwatch was lacking in so much content plus every hero was OP. Got boring very quick. However people like one shot kill snipers and ults that can kill everyone in the game so they got the game they wanted. No man's Sky I put in 80 hours as I refused to not get my money's worth after I released I had done more than 2 hours for my refund :(.
My best game was Uncharted 4 and Final Fantasy 15. My worst is probably No man's sky even though there was tons of broken games released this year. However I didn't buy then.

I remember that at the time of release I had nerve damage in my right hand. I had to use a Joypad instead of my mouse, however I still kicked ass and I got to level 99 before I hit the wall of boredom. Good game though Overrated. One thing I can take from it is one don't trust a nurse taking blood as she might hit a nerve and two I don't like these hero type game as much as BF1.
Paolo Trianni I have to agree with u, I play it on Xbox and I joined at patch 1.4 and I have the most fun on this game and have a lot of friends who play. people need to come back to it and try it out because they fixed the bugs and it's worth putting in the time

I actually enjoyed the division it was fun I think it was better then destiny the graphics were amazing the dark zone was great the missions were fun I will admit side mission are repetitive.the division is extremely fun with friends

Steel Gray yeah exactly. Its stupid to compare this game to ssx tricky. Because they are very different. One is realistic and the other is more of an arcade game. Its like comparing battlefield to call of duty.

I love the arcade type of gameplay like cool boarders, tony hawk, SSX but also the more realisitic ones like Skate and Amped. I played the beta for an hour or two and couldn't wrap my head around who could even enjoy this game except for the peoples who never played any of the games mentionned above. No hate, i'm just curious.

OverWatch is among my most disappointing games of the year. $40-$60 for a F2P model game that only bares multiplayer with 13 maps and 3 game modes. Utter failure and nowhere deserving of the price.

Luke Everson Nope. It turns out everyone was wrong. "The game's not realistic. So that means it's boring". No shit, Sherlock. Not all video games have to be realistic. Battlefield fanboys ruined Battlefield 1 for me. If Francis doesn't mention Infinite Warfare, then it's good. Although there are micro transactions. So that's the only problem with Infinite Warfare other than the lag. But the game's still good.
My best were Modern Warfare Remastered, Sun and Moon, and Titanfall 2. I'm having a shit ton of fun in these games.
And tbh, Infinite Warfare ain't that bad either...
Doesn't change that Activision forced their customers to buy the Infinite Warfare bundle to even get Modern Warfare: Remastered. Worst of all, they added microtransactions to the thing! Such greed....
