Interesting how you phrase that as the Christian, Jewish, and Islamic GOD is one in the same Entity... IT IS the GOD of Abraham... and GOD has been perverted by each of those Groups and subdivisions of those Groups to meet their own variations... Shia and Sunni have been killing each other for centuries... Muslims and Christians have been fighting each other for centuries... both religions have committed human and cultural atrocities... GOD gave everyone FREE WILL to see what we'd do with it... GOD does not protect everyone from everything... that might be called HEAVEN?... GOD does allow "life" to happen and may, at HIS/HER will, intervene in certain cases... NO ONE should rely on GOD for anything... as a Christian I believe but I do not pray for things I have no control over... when something good happens, that I have no control over, like missing hitting a deer, or avoiding some disaster, or finding a $20 bill on the ground and then somehow finding the owner... I thank GOD... but I also don't blame HIM/HER for my misfortune either... nor do I give credit or even awareness to "The Devil"... I also don't denounce other faiths for believing in their Gods, like Hindus... from my understanding of the Christian Ten Commandments, I'm just not allowed to pray to them as they are not MY GOD... just thought I might give you a bit of insight because of your semi-derogatory tone and semi-troll attempt... no religion is anywhere near perfect... humans, either religious or secular will always be humans... animals with a higher mental capacity for cruelty...😉

Celebrating 2,000 years of "any day now." The lack of knowledge is refusing to understand that this is nothing more than severe weather and that society is the catalyst and taking responsibility for it.
With that said I identify as Roman Italian Catholic. I have a personal friend who is a professor of theology and speaks several languages including Mandarin Chinese and whose Bible groups I was attending every Sunday morning prior to the pandemic at St John's Cathedral on the Upper West Side. My faith and my beliefs are my own. However I do not use God as an excuse or scapegoat every time something bad happens.
