You have no idea what I can handle having ice fished in -30° on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Been in a 6.4 in Palm Springs California. Had my fare share of nor'easters. Been through Sandy when my street was under 5 ft of water. With that said I identify as Roman Italian Catholic. I have a personal friend who is a professor of theology and speaks several languages including Mandarin Chinese and whose Bible groups I was attending every Sunday morning prior to the pandemic at St John's Cathedral on the Upper West Side. My faith and my beliefs are my own. However I do not use God as an excuse or scapegoat every time something bad happens.
