I have 6 of these amps in the CT line and they all do over their rated numbers with ease. Best thing to me is their simple clean looks and they are all the same size, just different lengths so they stack up really good together
And half bridge for sure to answer your question. And I liked that little touch you added at the end! I’ve never seen anyone else do a certificate power rating card like that! Really sweet idea 😊 keep it up brotha !!
Oh yeah, ive said it before but i love the channel. Love the southern accent as well. Love seeing these smaller to midsized power amps getting some dyno love.
Wish someone would dyno brands like Audison. Just the entry level SR series. Very high end components at relatively reasonable prices. Best SQ I have heard after 35 years in car audio. They do show up on Amazon at very low prices from time to time. Really enjoy your videos.
Ct Sounds used to sell another brand of amplifier on their website, they packed the punch too. I can't remember the brand name now. It will come to me tonight when I am sleeping. Good video
Hi@@stereomojo I found out the other brand of amplifiers CT Sounds offered for sale, in the past. It was called Execution Audio, I actually owned an EA1000. Now these EA amps were real budget bangers
CT sounds is a nice brand but it's a shame they got rid of there 18" compition subwoofers. I got Soundqubed S1-2250.1 amplifiers and there also very amazing. Those 12" EXO subwoofers look nice but why don't they sell the 18" EXO subwoofers 🤔
A quick way to tell if an amplifier is full Bridge or half bridge is that only a half bridge is capable of being strapped to another amp. A full Bridge amplifier is basically two half bridges in the same chassis connected together.
Great video! The AT series amp are really nice amps. I had a AT1400.1V1 in the wife’s car and she loved it. I have a request if you’re wanting to do a 3K. The Rockville DBcomp4. There an older amp but I don’t think anyone ever did a dyno on one. I had the DBcomp5 and it wasn’t the most efficient amp but it was a beast.
I thought the D4S JP8 was the ONLY dependable D class amp capable of 0.5 ohm stability under 1K! Nice to see some competition; “Bring it on!”#D4S#JP8#🔊❤️🥊
Those CT line of amps are the same China boards as the scar and a few others, several companies brand the 1500s n 2ks. IMO the Skar rp line does pretty well but I would rather have the CT sounds Every Dyno or review video I've seen on them from the 700 to 3200w all did rated power certified and well beyond dynamically. Hard to beat the holiday deals on the 1500, 2k and 3200. The 3200 was 307$ that's a deal for 4k watt half bridge.
Please don't confuse people by saying these amps are the same as some other brand. They are not the same. When you look at the basic layout of the circuit board and it looks very similar to another brand that just means that they both copied their board from the same older amplifier design. That's all it means. There could still be large differences as far as the components used, the brand, the ratings, the thickness of the circuit board, the preamp section etc etc.
I'm looking for a 4 channel full range to power 2 pair of Rockford Fosgate PUNCH 6"×9"s . I've been eyeballing the CT-80.4AB . My son runs that amp and it's a mini beast.
Hello I've been watching your videos and they're very helpful. I'm learning a lot from you. I'm looking for a good amp . And my friend has Jc power R3200.1 amplifier. I was wondering would you be able to do a Dyno test? Been hearing a lot of good things about this amp 😎🙏💯🔊
Thank you for getting back to me the amplifier that I wanted to tryout it's on eBay. They have it in Merced California . But I was trying to find videos and there is really nothing on this amp .
How many volts are those caps on to the left side the power input rail ? It tells us about the overall quality put into this thing. If you’d like to know more about caps I would gladly find some reading materials for you to get more familiarized with what’s what
The voltage of the input capacitors really doesn't tell you anything about the quality. They could be 16, 18 or 20 volt just as long as it's rated higher than the input voltage.
@@JasonWW2000 sure but when you see cheap over rated over compensating caps in the place where should lie a 16v input cap then that speaks a little bit about what the if any engineering was taken place at the time of construction or was this just another copy paste 30year old formula ?
@@onesikm3You don't need to look at the capacitors to know that. There's only a few amplifier brands out there that make original designs. CT sounds is definitely not designing their own amplifiers. This is definitely a clone amp.

VERY NICE AMPLIFIER. If CT Sounds would start building the EXO 18" subwoofers there would be many people running CT sounds at the sound compitions.
That would be cool for sure!
Ive never seen this amp dyno'd at all. Cant wait to see what she does.
My 2000.1d smoked itself, worked perfectly dialing in the 7 mag though 👍🤞 ill never waste a penny on them again
