- Hello everyone! Today we have a special japanese crane game challenge! But instead of trying to win cool anime figures like Demon Slayer or Re:Zero, we are going to win many of the great Japanese snacks and foods!
So for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we can only eat whatever we win from crane games in Osaka, Japan!! Is it possible to win something from the Japanese claw machine? If we don't win any prize from UFO catcher, we can't eat anything!! Will we survive? What can we win?? Let's find out!!

I love how the more frustrated you get, the more Japanese you start speaking lol. My friend does the same thing except it’s Spanish.
My Swedish coworker is like that too. Can only imagine him cursing in Swedish
My brother is a native English speaker like me...and someone pissed him off in a Walmart parking lot and out of nowhere he starts popping off in Spanish...there was a guy with his family who looked back with wide eyes, looking confused and concerned...like "why this white boy so Spanish angry" LMFAO 🤣 it was hilarious 🤣 I took four years of German and so did he (I also know some Japanese) ...but he picked up Spanish like nothing from work and his girlfriend. Lol I grew up around Spanish speaker enough that I caught half of what he said and it wasn't kind.

You know...this could be a good idea for a Reality TV show. The contestants are given a certain amount of money per day and they can only eat whatever they can win in these crane games.
Brutal. Surviving a week would be nigh-possible

@@ferdithetank7535 Naah that's when the contestants learn to swallow any pride they may have and use the phrase 'sumimasen' with the staff when an item is stuck.
The only people who would apply would be good at It, people would also probably just to that type where you have to hit a lever and then It tilts the thing and like 6 things of ramen come out
Whoever owns this claw machine room really has all the machines set to difficult
They are designed to be a scam
Claw machines in general are designed to have stronger grip strength only after a certain amount of money has been paid into them (whether it’s by you or someone else), then resetting so they need more money again. I’m sure the amount is a range rather than a fixed number so it’s still slightly random, but this way the house always makes money. Ideally, it’d be a completely random chance whether it has good strength or not each go, similar to a slot machine. Either way, it’d be a ripoff lmao.
Haha, can't help but think back to all hose times I overspent on crane games in Yakuza for prices I already knew were out of reach!

Lol, I once saw a claw machine with a notice at the bottom saying about the risks of gambling.
Or make sure to set very strict limits on yourself, and NEVER fall for the trap of bypassing those limits. If you feel the urge to do so, you need to stop gambling immediately and never gamble again.

I had just watched CDawgVA’s crane game challenge. 🤣 oh boi! This felt like torture. I am glad they were able to get some things, but food is for sure one of the hardest things to win at these kinds of places.

I'm pretty good at American crane machines but, like the machines you're playing, ours machines, the crane clasp is rigged not to grasp fully, they are still fun to play!
If the value of the price isn't much lower as the game it self there are mostly mechanisms in the machine that only give the possibility to a win after a certain amount rounds played
It's more of a brain game. It's about angling the crane to open a certain way that knocks into the item. You don't usually use these cranes to directly grab something. You're using them as a force against the item.
You can play them online through Toreba and other apps. They're honestly more fun and, once you get the hang of them and get good at them, they have better prizes.

I totally would have gone back to that crane with the anime tubes and just knocked them all over with the arm. Easy winnings on that one due to poorly thought out prize placement.
It was pure luck that the one tube just fell right. Look at how the other tube falls and blocking the hole, it looks easy winning, but im sure 99% of the tubes will fall without going in the hole. If it would be that easy, they would immediatly change the setup.

Oh wowza, these were some seriously shady leisures, no wonder why Japan has very strict gambling laws, people could spend insane amounts of money chasing that sweet victory.
The jackpot at the end though, you 100% deserved it.
It's not shady. They're more about thinking how to use the crane to your advantage instead of using it to directly grab an item. Plenty of people win on these when they learn how to use them.
In Japan you can ask for help after a few tries and the staff will usually help you. Most of the crane type games you aren't really supposed to pick up the item, but push it down or change it's position. Some people can win almost anything on less then 1000 yen.

Its very good to have the food and numerous items back. The board games and arcades gives 99% wins since points and tickets combined are good, excluding rides and freebies. It also has try this and you'll have points/tickets in numerous arcade centers. Keep searching. 2022 onwards. BANSAI Arcade centers! Haik!
