Wish we had the camera’s like these back in the late 80’s early 90’s I used to do hill climbs like this on a cr480 then moved up to a kx500 . Brings back memories and it looks like a blast 🤙
I wish we had cameras when I was young and dumb too! Ha
Yea I here yea me too I was thinking the same thing buddy
Always hated the kick start on those 480's but they were stout.
I find myself just tagging along with my son and his friends on my Honda Rubicon as a recovery person now days but this old man can still still show up the youngsters every now and then when I'm feeling frisky, lol.
We didn't have the fancy extended swing arms back in my days , just stock bikes.
It's awsome to watch my son carry on as i did when I was young.
Man, y'all really have good community of like-minded people... Never seen a comment section read like a forum.
No fake one-uppers and no one talking trash.
Oh be patient the haters are coming. 🤣
I'll never get tired of watching dirt bikes and quads send it on these hills!
me neither!
Real men don't ride quads.
Feels like home!!! You guys should have seen our dads and uncles doing this back in the day with mullets, cr500s, yz490s and garage built buggies 😂
Heck yeah! 🤘
Hell yea I rode them same hills seen in this video. Years back the big piles in tower city was the place to be my dad and uncle would climb them. We also used to go in black woods and climb the Indian head hill and a few others.
@@JayJay-de8vq yep. north side of the hill off 81 was a straight up make it or dont trail. pin it and let her eat.
Only in schuylkill county!
T- Shirts and Cowboy Boots, hard-core.
that's right
Awesome!! Thanks
Thanks for watching
These guys Rock, thanks for posting this 😊
HK3 shoot coming soon
Me and my dad used to do this on strip mines here in TN. Had to be early 80s or before. Nothing that tall as I remember - those are gnarly!!! Great times. That little Banshee is rowdy son! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
These are some big hills for sure
Awesome frickin climbs!!!
these coal hills are unique for sure
Great video! I used to ride there and a lot of other slate dumps many years ago. Notice my handle LOL. Keep up the great videos!
Thanks! Will do!
Ahh, brings back fond memories when we used to climb those tailings piles there, Shamokin, Mt. Carmel, Frackville. That was back in the early 2000's and we could ride the trails all day long, 50-75 miles and not hit the same one twice. Yep, dumped my old quad more than once on some of those hills but had so much fun doing it :)
good times
Love you vids, can’t wait for this one!🤘
It’s a good one!
So glad you finally got to see it and ride it.
It is a cool place for sure.
It takes a very skilled person to ride a bike like that. I've tried myself. I just don't have the feel for it. Got to know how to balance and shift your weight at a snap of a finger. Hats off to those fellas
They make it look easier than it is
Not only are you guys climbing the hills your catching serious air off the top lips like there jumps!! Amazingness 😁👍 crazy riders crazy stretched out bikes! Gotta get to that coal pit someday looks incredible!
This was their first time there and will for sure be back
/0l
This video is insane… mind blowing! Each&Every rider show their own personality in their climb. Soo badass. Insane
they hit some good ones that day
Awesome footage ,brings back some good memories
thanks, these guys can ride
I grew up riding these hills. Really awesome video!
Thanks 👍
awesome fun
Always a good time with this crew
Can't wait
Worth it
Matt nice to see you in my backyard riding. I grew up riding/climbing these hills, I love watching all your videos esp. the bouncers. I will get to your area and come see a show. Keep up the good work.
Hopefully we can get some bouncers involved in these climbs eventually
@@BustedKnuckleVideo That would be insane!! Maybe triple down and hit the AOAA, Coal hill, and do some trail riding around this area.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo and I would like to say for the record these videos do the hills NO justice.
no videos ever do hills justice
@ Busted Knuckle Films That would be sick man
Andrew is a beast! That man definitely earned his nickname hill killer
He can ride for sure
Appreciate the love. I really do.
What a blast❤
Some amazing climbs
nice 👌 , hill climbs used to be HUGE parties about 1000 years ago
This is a fun group
Bet those hills are crazy in person!
They are wild for sure
No picture does justice!
This is my back yard I love trevorton
Place is pretty awesome
I have to say the video is great but the sounds are absolutely fantastic You could fall asleep to that like rain
Music to our ears....BRAAPPPP!
I love these hills and I have done about 90% of them on a stock yz250f, the video definitely makes them look smaller that what they really are 🤟🏻🤟🏻
they are big and always changing with the rain
I used to struggle on a 92 cr125.... Stopped riding trails and then when I went back my 2000 CR250 made it ease... Miss riding there though. The blacky at the carwash was the staple back then.
Hell yeah, love videos like this!
More to come!
Thats just the beginning of the hill-climbing you can do in PA I've been to every hill-climbing place in PA worth going to best is yet to be seen
Where are the best places?
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I liked monroville slags western PA it was a good 30 mile trip on the RR tracks to get there from where I lived in Sarver but shit ton of fun
nun the less you have to take a ride with me when I get my trike done I can show you places that people never see All over in PA Ohio NY western NY where I'm from langford on 75 & 249 sisson Highway north collins i can show lot of cool places to cut loose
Awesome.I would've loved to have been there..but,some of the camera angles made me feel as if I was on the rig..👍 Great editing. Will wait patiently,(rubbing hands together violently) for the next "balls-out" vid..!!! Man,the amount of effort y'all put into bringing these into our little realm of entertainment,My hat's off to ya,..great job brother..👌👌👌
Thanks, this was a big endeavor getting up there with all the camera gear but I really dig this series. Hopefully it does well
i use to do this stuff when i was younger but at 57 it hurts a whole lot worse. lol
Truth
Damn , that looks like a great time !!
cool spot for sure
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I've never rode the east coast before. I'm from California. If you guy's hit the west coast & are looking for hill climbs check out Carnegie SVRA Park in Livermore Ca.CA. They have the NAHA championship there every year.
Are the competitive hill climbs really that difficult?
@@BustedKnuckleVideo there's video's of the climbs on you tube , I don't know how to tag or send it to you otherwise I would. Yeah , there's some gnarly shit at Carnegie 👍
Man this hits home.
Oh wait. I live here in the Coal region.
good place to climb hills
Guess you guys didn't find the mile long hill climb up there? It's in between Trevorton and Shamokin. There are videos of it on youtube. Back in the early 2000's I used to take my dune buggies up there and ride from our campsite in Shamokin to Trevorton. And you cannot, and I mean, CANNOT miss Whale Back Rock. Such a site to see.
They have been to it, we didn't have a chance to this time around.
Right up the road from me!
Coal country has a lot of good hills it seems
we used to climb that same pile with our VW powered buggies back in the mid 80s,awsome hill climbs.
I bet that was fun
Been awhile since ive been there. Cool to see you coming to somewhere local to me
We hope to hit a few new places this season
Crazy Channel ....🤘greeetz from Eastern Germany
Thanks for watching!
Run what ya brung. Been riding those culm banks for my entire life and it never gets old. Make sure you have a good pressure washer.
yeah the black soot is not fun
Good shit
nothing but senders
Most definitely good videos sir keep it up with these guys
@@stevep2222 more to come
Hey that’s my stomping grounds! Treverton has some of the gnarly still climbs in PA
it is a unique place for sure
How I wish I was still young and invincible, that hill looks like so much fun 🤩
With age comes the cage
@@BustedKnuckleVideo yup I moved to dirt mini stock racing until I couldn’t afford it anymore (kids lol)
good idea, I moved to RZRs and Rock Bouncers. Though the only real injury I have had is from mtn biking which I still do LOL
That guy at 4:40 was invincible. Pretty sure he was a superhero.
May not have been able to tell but his button up shirt cape and the superman shirt underneath were a dead giveaways. 😆
Nice 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
My back yard. Used to run paddle tire on a 90 CR 500 all over those banks. But then I got old.
It happens. With age comes the cage
Awesome spot. I ride there all the time all year
Very cool!
the badass on the screaming banshee is the winner
heck of a climb
I love riding here!! Gnarly hills!! Saw a yzf450 with a gixxer 1000 motor eat these hills up!
I bet that was a wild ride
I miss riding at Trevorton
Didn’t seem like there was a whole lot there
You gotta keep this series going man, go on FL trip with them 🤘🤘
I plan to for sure
is that all coal mine tailings???
Sure is
The video doesn’t do these hills justice. Some of them are massive. These guys make it look easy. Might have to make a trip there this weekend
Camera never does
Right! You see that guy at 8:56.
Just the way he downshift while landing. Just made everything so smooth. 👌
banshee sounds so good i could watch this all day
I rode around on his spare banshee and had a blast.
I commented on one of your other hill climb videos early today or yesterday. The. Old coal climbs in Elk County are like 2 hours from Treverton. The bigger ones we had before they were reclaimed we’re very similar to this but slightly steeper and 2-2.5 times higher and your had to pick your lanes through the trees. They were nuts and not very known being a small town of less than 500 people.
Scratch the steeper part of that comment. Once I saw some more of the video they had some comparable stuff.
bet they were fun
@@BustedKnuckleVideo This was back before and right as they were bringing out the 4 strokes. None of us had more than a pipe on our bikes and some rejetting. I dont think I ever saw a 125 climb em. Most of us had older CR125s but unless you had a 250 you weren't climbing them. The guys kn the construction crew that was jn there reclaiming everything was staying at the hotel my wife worked at. Not that they were doing anything more than their job but I for sure made the comment of how they were destroying my childhood.
Just wild 😜
full senders
This is my backyard. Those coal hills are no joke, the memorial on the incline is kinda sobering. It's still too much fun to stay away though, just stay safe.
They are fun but sketchy for sure
More!!!
Hopefully we can hit some of the big hills a Windrock next
Where is the 2strokes? They climb good to
These guys prefer 4 I guess. 🤷♂️
Video is fire.... keep going bro !!!
Thanks Jason!
Saludos desde uruguay
I like that guy's attitude with the four-wheeler let me know I'm up a little bit we good🤣👍👍👍✌🇺🇲
he just sprained his ankle real good
for perspective. The coat hill is about 10 stories tall.
they are huge
@@BustedKnuckleVideo search YT for Hill Climbs Trevorton kx500.
That is where this is.
2:20 that banshee tho
all the woopows
Hell yeah this reminds me of home Jermyn PA
probably no far away
@@BustedKnuckleVideo 10 minutes north of Scranton
Been a long time since I have climbed those hills and rode in that area!!!!...Memories!!
Pretty cool spot
We spent weekends here 15 years ago, lots of good times and only 1 bad accident all the years we rode there. Lot of sand rails back then, dunkelbergers always up there on them.
such an iconic place
I am proud of you Andrew! Doing what you love, your passion, and drive makes you a hill killer! This is also why I have gray hair!!
He didn’t crash much this time
Love you mom.
Awwwwww.
@Eternal Cowboy I wish I could say I take good care of myself. But sadly I’m kinda in the same boat. Shattered my t7 to my t12 in my back ( have two 12 in rods in my back) also have had multiple reconstructive surgery’s on both feet. Going in for the fourth surgery on my right foot next Friday.
I think I will stick to things with roll cages...
I use to ride those hills every weekend and i use to ride wheelies up every hill one the back tire with out a paddle tire on a yzf 450
Might be a little more difficult now. 🤷♂️
Same here Chris never needed a paddle. I have been climbing those hills for 15 years.
Nice man I was there. I was wondering when youd post this video
Takes some time to edit
Thanks for another great vidja Matt! Appreciate cha budee! Giver da Katsup!!
Thanks Tommy!
Rowdy
big hills
My 250r with a 310 Duncan Jug & piston destroyed the ravines in Southern Indiana.. It was a ripper, destroyed 3 frames, countless axles, and lots of steering stems.. lol.. Wish I still had a body that could handle it.. Guys when your under the age of 25 enjoy every second of your life.. It sucks to get old.. I'm only 42, and wouldn't dream of doing this anymore..
When I was a kid I used to go to Roslyn and Cle Elum in Washington state before they shut the coal Hills downs and they had huge hill climbs
too bad they shut it down
Got to go to Hillsville with these guys
Is it a good spot?
@@BustedKnuckleVideo its like wellsville it in pa though
But it a good spot
That Suzuki, fully geared out local was just showing ya what’s up🫡
it did the thang
Man, looks alot like the cinder hill's here in Arizona !
these slate coal hills are awesome
The guy on the banshee tho 😂
He sent it a little too hard
We did them early 90s on dr 350s. Then have a spotter at top of hill so we could ride off them free fall.
I bet that was cool
Never really been into hill climbs but the more I watch the more I want to be involved.
it is a fun sport
....maybe once or twice a day; any more than that is ADHD out of control.
@@CRSolarice are you talking about the amount of hill climbing one can do in a day?
Sweet
some crazy climbs out there
Yall need to hit the old strip pit
Where is that?
Great edit! Dude at 9:55 really thinks he can hang on a clapped out, stock length, paddleless z400? When's he gonna learn? Lol
Ha yet he made it out the top!
Just messing around man, that's me. Thanks for including that clip
Thanks for putting on a show for the cameras.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo Glad I could be there. Ive wanted to hit that line for a long time but always chickened out, I think you being there gave me that extra little kick to actually go for it.
I had a 400 dirt bike? Good riding.
I didn't think the quads would be that capable but there ya go, learn something new every day. The guys should invite Ronnie Mac out on a ride one time.
I'd like to see that as well
Damn boys keep bringing the AWESOME FOOTAGE!!💪💪💪💪💪 the banshees kick A$$!! But everyone rode great!🤙
More to come!
hellz yeah!!!! the quads doing it is the best.
its a bit more sketch on a quad
Ayyee whens the windrock trip?!?!
Working out those details
THERE IS NO OTHER RUSH LIKE FLYING OVER THE TOP OF A KNARLY HILL...NUFF SAID
Truth
Or come across the top and launch off
launching off the top would be fun
@@BustedKnuckleVideo been there done that although sometimes it didint always work out like i thought it would...lol...i used to love hitting steep climbs and shooting straight up in the air...the faster the higher..ahh yes the good ole days...im 53 now...still love to send it it just with more calculated thoughts...lmao
I use to ride there all the time years ago. I seen lots of guys climb those hills on stock length bikes with no sand tires that was called cheating lol. Even quads to there was a guy that use to jump off the tops of those hills on his 450r.
It makes it easier for sure.
I see the ATV going up the hills and I can't help but think about when I rolled mine at high speed and I can't imagine taking one up there because of that 😂 I bet its fun though
It is fun until you watch it roll back down the hill
yeah that too
Lol you look like a quad rider
@@dyllanmcneil1601 Do I? Lol
These fellas are making this look a little easier than it is. Just keeping your balance when your momentum starts to fade is more than most good riders can handle. If you watch many of the competition hill climbs the riders don't have shit on these. Now it's true most hill climbers are 250lbs with 150 of it beer gut and 50 of it beard but still....
They make a lot of hills look easy
Strap on helment for a reason !
no fear
So try not even putting the lid on. The strap has a purpose
Thought I was watching a hill climb. Whalers the hill ? Lmao
whalers the hill? wtf?
Explain.
Nice extended swing arms
they help
Wow
Steep!
@@BustedKnuckleVideo lol I could tell 🤣🤣💯💯💯💯
and typically the camera does them no justice
@@BustedKnuckleVideo yea especially go pros

Awesome People 👍
For sure
You all should really go to johnstown pa and go to mine 37 I used to ride there all the time some bad a** climbs
We are down to go anywhere if the hills are good
That guy in the banshee is fearless ive seen him in other vids and he is hardcore
Ray is that without a doubt
People fail to realize that Pennsyltucky has some pretty gnarly places to ride. PA is slept on for real.
true
I was about to say thats gotta be from coal mining god bless pa keep up the good work
It sure is. Makes for some unique climbs
