I have not touched CoD since XD came out. I am very old school player. I started on PC with MoH and shifted to CoD, then console CoD. I have seen them all. XD feels good, looks good, and is finally nice to be on lvl playing field. I am taken back with this game. The ones who hate it and csnt play it well have been coddled by CoD. This game test your actual ability and most of you are gonna suck at it.

Shit is still sweaty as fuck. I was far worse than a lot of people these days back on CoD4 and MW2 but itâs not possible to play any shooter casually anymore. Everyone plays every game like dying in the game is gonna kill them in real life. Itâs ridiculous and takes all the fun out of it.

@AJNYC. well COD has never had real competition until now. APEX, Overwatch, and Titanfall were all hero-shooters that mimicked Fortnite only in FP more than anything. Maybe Battlefield but let's be honest. Each one of those games has a 3 month lifespan before it dies lol

Xdefiant is really a lot of fun and well done, COD seriously has felt like a side job at this point the events are stale and I only play once a week at this point to bust out the weekly challs
I donât even wanna hop on to do the weekly challenges anymore and Iâve done all the previous seasons. Xdefiant just feels new and fresh and cod feels stale af.
Xdefiant feels new because it's new. It isn't a yearly life cycle game and is already stale with not enough content.

Nothing short of complete removal of SBMM in casual lobbies would make me go back to CoD. I think everybody is getting hyped up for another turd; itâs the same every new CoD release lol. They just have their new movement gimmick, which is just going to promote even sweatier gameplay, but the servers will still be shit, so thereâs going to be a lot of Omni-directional dolphins rubber-banding around. But, I hope Iâm wrong, for the sake of the industry.

@@Ragnoceros Sorry, that's not how that works man. The matchmaking system is peer to peer, it's part of the reason we don't have private matchmaking. You have to download the game, that's part of what the servers are for. But peer to peer is how the systems in a match interact with each other. You can google it if you don't believe me but it's not a hidden fact or anything. Dedicated servers are rare (if at all existant?) in console games.

CoD is never getting rid of SBMM. And thatâs a good thing. I run into a lot of people in XDefiant that I should never be playing with. Constantly being completely dominated by people with instant reaction time and near perfect accuracy just ruins the game.
The only people that want SBMM gone are people with god complexes that just want to steamroll bad players. Simple as that.
@@jjc5871 disagree. Cod at its foundation is a casual game. The beauty of that is you get it a mixed bag of skill level. SBMM ruins that and makes every lobby a sweat fest or makes it unenjoyable to game with friends at differing skill levels. If you want to play against people of your same skill level and take it seriously, there is a place for that called ranked. Not everyone wants to play the game that way.

Even if xD was a sub par game, which itâs not, Iâll pick xD 10 times out of 10 because of the match making. Every game is different. And thatâs fun. Tryarch is going to make an awesome game, and activisions greedy little hands are going to ruin it with SBMM and holding back features to market the next COD with.

before we just hop on the cod train again (even though i am hyped for bo6 as well) we seriously need to have an intervention with the COD developers, either a journalist or big content creator as a platform and just ask them a simple question. WHAT exactly makes it so difficult for them to actually listen to and implement community feedback? Like seriously , smaller teams of devs are doing this all the time but for some reason they refuse to listen to us.
I completely skipped getting MW3, I was just finally done. Quit FPS altogether, then when xDefiant released...I've had fun again. All the old buds have come back because of that game. It's been like the old days knowing I'll have a squad of 6 every night when we wanna play. We're all older and don't have the time to "get gud" like we did 15 years ago. To have a fun non-SBMM FPS to play has been a breath of fresh air!

I miss when Battlefield was great.
Let's be real here. MOST CoD players only play multiplayer to level guns, and grind camos to use while they play Warzone. WZ is the draw for CoD. Not the Multi-player side. As long as they keep the WZ side of the game clicking along, CoD wins this battle. Now if XD wants to really be the "CoD killer" they would have to evolve their game into including a BR. With that being said, I've enjoyed playing XD. I think they did it right, and have a good base game to build on, but again, without the BR aspect of it, they can't compete with CoD.
I go back and forth with XD having a BR. Using the New York or DC map from Division would be awesome though. As long as loadouts donât exist anyway. Tired of running into nothing but the OP weapon of the week in WZ.

I gotta disagree with one thing MW2019 was one of the best since cod ghost ! IMO a lot of people shit on cod ghost but that was the last one I really got into and I feel treyarch are only hailed as better when a modern warfare game looses steam BO2 was not the standard it was always MW2 which is why they still use the hit scan detection from that game ! Havenât played x defiant but I plan on it if itâs true to form then it might be my go2 for multiplayer fps and Iâll play warzone and pub g for battle Royale !
