Failure to disclose sources in court should be a default judgement for the plaintiff
That would violate the 1st and possibly 5th amendment - as does contempt of court in most cases. Constitutionally, you can tell a judge to go fuck himself and there's constitutionally nothing he can do. They'll instead find you in 'contempt' and fine/jail you over exercising your constitutional right to redress grievances with a judge.
@@countfrackula6707 I don’t see how it’s a violation of the first amendment. The freedom to say what you want, associate with who you want, petition the government for change, and print the news. There’s nothing there saying you can’t be punished for slander/libel, falsifying information, or to maintain secrecy. Especially as a court subpoena is a legal warrant to search and seize property or information under the 4th amendment.

Be careful, they are going after Catherine Herridge this way because her source was saying Biden had knowledge a Chinese spy was running a military school in the U.S. Biden's Justice Department is fining her $800 a day every day she refuses to name her source. Remember, any solution to this that can be abused by the Justice Department will be abused by the Justice Department in this administration.
The "real" legal system is "which judge does your lawyer know".

No doubt I had gotten a lawyer cuz I heard he was the one to get, long story short they make me the last one to be called and my lawyer is up talking to judge about going golfing etc we made a deal had pay some cash (I’m assuming the judge gets some benefit ) and that was it …..no trial no nothing . Gotta admit it was nice being on the receiving end of making it easy but I paid for I’m guessing.
In federal cases today the legal system is which political party have you donated to and how much did you give? You would have to be legally blind to not be able to see how the DOJ is being used to destroy political opposition to the Democrat Party.
@@dannybird4996 City judges have performance contracts where they get a bonus based on city revenue from the courts. District courts are a bit more honest.
"Anonymous source" could mean they handed a cheeseburger and a letter to a homeless person and said "here, read this out loud". And I suspect it's precisely that in many cases.

It's so true what Tim says about government employees.
They don't do much of anything. And you should hear these guys speak abot their work to outsiders. They make it sound like it's just CRAZY busy, and that they could never even hope to take care of it all.
They. Barely. Work. I know, ive worked for Fed and amd local level. And you should hear them talk about the contracters. Government employees have a massive superiority complex.

In the 1970s, during Watergate, the Editor of The Washington Post REFUSED to run Woodward's and Bernstein's story based upon anonymous sources. The Editor as adamant that without someone going _on the record_ the paper was not going to run the story because it VIOLATED their editorial process and the Ethics of Journalism. That is why when they finally ran the story nobody doubted its authenticity.
But those days are LONG GONE. Just a few years ago Dan Rather was in such a panic to torpedo George W. Bush's re-election that he went on the air with documents so FALSE they were not even produced on a typewriter but rather on a dot-matrix printer which wasn't even invented until more than a decade after the documents were supposed to have been produced.
BTW, the documents claimed that then George W. Bush was late in satisfying all of his Texas Air National Guard training time during the Vietnam War DESPITE his CO and affidavits from the Guard affirming that he did. Rather and his producer LOST their jobs.
But today, reporters get caught red-handed peddling FALSE stories with no verification and without consequence because it is all in the service of the Democrat National Committee.

Anytime I see an article that has “an anonymous source close to the wh” I take whatever is printed with a grain of salt. Anyone willing to give you details and not their name shows that anyone can make this up as they go.

I think that is part of the reason why there is so much of a push for tracking people. We are literally at the point where rolling the dice on vigilantism is the only viable means of justice for the little guy.

@jameskarg3240 Thankfully, since they're not enforcing many crimes, you can do criminal acts to get your own Justice, and the current government won't stop you from physically punishing someone, if you don't use a weapon, don't maim or kill, and don't take more than $999 as a "fine". I'm actually surprised that more Private Justice Workers haven't just popped up on street corners offering their vigilant justice for hire.
