yeah, original creator unfortunately deleted their account, probably because they realized that they undersold them self and also never got the shout out in the first video.

This sadly also gives some people the false expectation that game dev is cheap. I've had a few ridiculous requests for making a game by buyers thinking it's cheap.
So to all watching thinking about getting a game done, note BadGameDev spent time himself fixing the game up, unless you are able to do that, it will cost.
How much for this type of game? Can you give me an idea? I am planning to built one. i have contact some game developer from fiver who offer to built game under $85 but there skill is not satisfying to me.
What can i do about it ?
@@watchingrain1621 Well, it's hard to estimate, but always start out with a clear goal. get all features down etc, guess work cost a lot. just a programmer making the first prototype i would guess 2 weeks(fully made like this vid). IF you have all down how you want it. now you can get juniors to fix the game for $15/h, personally i charge my work for 40-45 atm so that would be about $1200-3200. Pixel art can be done better on fiverr and i would guess that's the cheap part, together with audio.
That being said, if you can do work yourself, like the guy in the vid. you get off a lot cheaper. or if you find someone, (like the guy who made the first prototype) who already have the project and can modd it. that's also cheaper. but a custom one cost.
correction, he hustled this game into existence, i highly doubt he did much himself on this, he under payed the original creator of this and never game them a shoutout untill this video (after they deleted their fiverr account and probably gave up on using fiverr because of this experience)
he never mention what he paid the dev he found on fiverr to finish the game in this video, just states that they agreed on a price and he payed them, that could basicly mean, 10$ again.
thinking that the first video on this gave backlash.
i would not recommend anyone playing this ad filled game, al though all credit still goes to the original creator who now has disappeared. just don't, don't support this type of under paid labor within the game development universe, just don't.
even the videos are lazy put together, so i don't even see why anyone but the developers working on the game should be paid for this game xD this is so bad, he really lives up to his name BadGameDev

He did the marketing part by himself. Marketing is the hardest part.
You need different levels. May I suggest that at every 50,000 points you unlock a new level with a different scenery and different looking enemies? Perhaps a little illustrated cut scene inbetween cut scenes?

I'm getting flashbacks to a time when everyone just posted random shit they found on the internet saying they made that in order to get compliments so they'd stop feeling as sad and lonely.
Honestly, he couldn’t create something like this if he tried, he had to pay other developers to not just create a game but also create more things for the game another person created lol.

I would LOVE to see as "New characters/enemies" the ones from the other Gunner Runners of the 1st video, to honor the origins of the game (the most beautiful crossover is the one with yourself).Too bad one of them is a ball, but the cube enemies could be a dope addition in a special mode. I'm going too far with my mind 😅😂
It's harder than you make it sound. To do this you should take the endless Runner sprites, modify them and adapt them for each existing weapon. If, on the other hand, you wanted to make him a unique character without the other weapons, you would have to give him the weapon from the original game, which had 6 ammo. The third game was 3d ... But I appreciate your imagination
Downloaded the game, played it and left a review! I found it very fun and entertaining! It's super cool!
another cool idea would be every certain amount of meters a big gunner pops up and if you deafet him you can get perks boost diamonds and special items
Great game! For future updates, maybe add some different gem types, some different hats, and some pads to step that slow you down or speed you up?
If i was developing this game, there would be no pits, instead there would be other kind of obstacles like poison puddles that would damage and also slow you down.
the game is really looking good but on thing is it doesnt really look like the main menu matches maybe its just me but i would expect it to have like a vintage arcade look to it!
The smooth graphics definitely don't fit with the pixel art.

I would change the GUI and font of the menu to something that fits better with the pixel art style

the game is interesting, you missed a minor thing, what if at the moment when you missed an enemy and you approach 8:26 him to kill him with the knife when he is close automatically, or the player presses a button to kill him with the knife, a kind of close combat in critical moments

You know when a publisher puts the entire game on the disc, but then charges you to unlock the ending? That's how this feels. All Skills and items are paywalled though you can get 3 diamonds by watching an ad. I mean, there aren't even any entry unlocks to give you that upgrade buzz. High-score is just numbers but could be improved with a classic 3 or 5 entry score screen.
Why don't you add some connecting to the google game and some achievements to make the player have a goal in the game

The game is good but it's 100% dependent on gems first time you play you can't even jump high so you keep loosing, i think you should make people love playing the game before forcing them to purchase
