Today Mazzy wants to clean her clip in hair extensions to freshen them up after wearing them on holiday in Turkey. The last time Mazzy tried washing hair extensions it ended very badly, a big knotty mess, which ended in the bin. Will she get it right this time?

Evening Mazzy, my advice would be to bleach your roots but dont run it through the rest of your hair. Just use the purple shampoo to brighten the whole colour together with purple conditioner. Otherwise your hair is going to break off again. You may need to get Dan involved to help you do this, especially round the back of your head. X

Did you not say in a previous Video Mazzy that you went for 23kg this time instead of the 20kg? If you did, you will have a bit of weight to play around with. ;-)

Doing good job Mazzy, always brush from bottom of your extensions first and work up and yes best air dry (have you got a coat hanger or two) you can place over like a rack to dry. Also that’s correct the larger one goes up not far beneath the crown and don’t keep putting them in same place as it will damage your hair and roots underneath so shift them about on each new use. They certainly do give you confidence, big hugs 🤗 😘

Hi Mazzy 💖 you don’t need bleach to do your roots , you can use a high lift tint with 30 vol peroxide 👌🏻 easier and much less damaging than bleach . I strongly recommend majirel high lift Ash , it also tones your hair as-well to ashy light blonde . Hair extensions I use and really recommend Fanola nourishing shampoo followed by joico k pak conditioner,, amazing stuff leaves the extensions so silky soft and glossy , leave the conditioner on for an hour or so like a mask and rinse 👍🏻

Hey Mazzy! So glad to see you’re having better luck with these clip ins. I know theres so much conflicting advice when it comes to caring for hair. In my experience getting a wetbrush(their regular one) detangles extensions so fast and gently if you happen to get your hands on one some day its worth giving a try!❤🎉
