I love when you go off on your personal rambles. It reminds me of myself trying to figure things out loud.
When my husband lost his job and he started being home a lot, he could not beleive how much I talk to myself. LOL
When it comes to talking to oneself I am an expert I am a very good listener, love it. Love the creation very pretty and the yarn colors are stunning looking forward to seeing this when its done. Love to you dear friend.
Like the sweater you are going to make. It should be
lovely.
I love the look of that fabric.
I like the verigated color! But the orange is pretty also! Tough decision! I know it will be Beautiful whichever you decide on! God Bless! 🙏😇♥️
It's very pretty! I'm sure the new pattern will be great too!
The project came out nice look forward to see what you decided on for the next project thanks for sharing.
I ❤ those 2 neutrals together 🎉🎉😊
The vest looks great. Your colors look perfect together. Looking forward to seeing your next pattern. 💜🙏🏻
The cardigan turned out great! Really like the yarn!
Hi Dina love the vest you matched up the colors well. Looking forward to what you make next.
Very pretty cardigan! Love the colors you chose for it! Looking forward to seeing your make on this next one!
Hi Dina, the vest came out great. The colors were awesome. You have a keen eye for matching yarn.
That vest is supper cute.😊
I love what you made and love the color and I can’t wait to see what you make next when it done
The Cardigan looks Great, it's a petty you didn't make it to fix you. Love the colour of yarn you choose for next project. Thanks for sharing
Thanks I did not have enough yarn to fit my body. LOL
Hi Dina!
Excellent project, very pretty. I really like the way you joined.
😊
Thank you! 😊
Great long sweater
I do the same, lol. So many patterns on my desktop and in Ravelry. Always "One day ...", have even bought the same pattern twice. great idea Dina, I may have to try it.
Same re: buying twice lol I wish etsy would give us an alert. "Are you sure you want to purchase again??"
Kudos for the swatches. I have never done swatches but I actually like the idea of doing the swatch to see which color would work best with the pattern
Nice! 🧶💕🧶
Hi Dina. I like the vest, especially with the contrasting color. I wouldn't wear it either, I'm more "shaped" than that. The vest is going to be a nice gift for someone. I like the colors you have chosen for the next project. I can't wait to see what you make.
Yeah I agree it is too straight and boxes for curvey girls😊
Love your input. Liked the look of summer days cardigan but I get thinking it would be better for someone less “endowed”. Anxious to see the results & your take on the alchemy cardigan. Thanks as always for the share.
Very pretty!
Nicely done.
I never think of you as a 1x. I have the identical bust size, 46-46 1/2". I'm really self conscious about my size, so when you read your numbers I was thinking...yay!! You look wonderful, and I love your channel. Especially when you do wearables. 🙂
OH yes a solit 1x and my pants are 14W or 16! The part about my wight that bothers me the most is how fat my face it. I lost 30 lbs before the shit it the fan in my life in October and gained it all back and then some. UGH
I think it looks great
Very pretty! You did a great job.
Thank you! 😊
Lovely project.
Thank you! 😊
Talking to yourself is a sign of genius. At least that is what I tell my family and myself. LMBO. 😂😂😂
LOL I love that!
I love the project
Dina !!!! i love the stitch . I’m hope i can buy this pattern. You do amazing work. I love your channel. I know I don’t tell you enough or common enough. My life is just crazy. Keep up the great work I always look forward to your videos.
Dear god Nancy you are so good for my mood!!! Thank you
hi Dina, unusually, make-and-do-crew have given the yarn requirements in grams rather than yards on that pattern so they're saying 790g of Vanna's style which is about 2000 yards. Hope you can still make it with yarn you already have - it's so satisfying making things out of stash yarn isn't it! Lovely stitch pattern on the vest too - thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this information. What an idiot I am thinking 790 yards would make a cardigan. LOL well as. you perdicted I ran out of yarn...trying to figure it out now. I mentioned you in my video that you pointed this out to me. Thanks again
💜
Thanks for the patterns Dina. I want to make the first one but just make it shorter and put a little sleeve on it. I really like the stitch pattern. Yours looks pretty and I’ve been making and wearing them with tanks. Have a good evening!!!❤
Great idea!
I made the Alchemy cardigan. It looks difficult but was not. It was the first cardigan I ever made.
I used a 3 weight. I'm not all that tall so my cardigans are shorter than most patterns which means I can get by with less yarn. Also, I love your method of pattern keeping. I collect patterns and then buy the yarn. I'm going out to get a couple of notebooks and use your method. Also, love your back ground the color of the wall and color of your yarns is very calming.
I ran out of yarn with the Alchemy I have the sleeves and trim to do...trying to figure it out now...Stay tuned.
I love how your project turned out. It’s really beautiful! I am curious about the cardigan you’ll be making.I’m a bit intimidated making wearables, specifically sweaters and vests that require structure. By the way, I love when you talk to yourself, we all do it .
I am almost done with it. But I ran out of yarn....I am currently trying to figure out what to do....stay tuned.
Hi Dana! I haven't made that cardigan but made 2 others of hers. I find her patterns a bit difficult to understand (I'm sure it's just me) but I haven't yet been in love with them. I have given them away in fact but they came out beautiful (either too big or too small and very long ...I am ony 5'2). The people I gave them to loved them. I have a vest of hers that I want to make, (kinda 70's vibe) I just haven't gotten to it yet. Anyway, I am excited to see what you make and your thoughts. Have a wonderful weekend.
I was not a big fan of the boxy look of it. But I did like the texture.
I get that I have a cup cake blanket pattern I printed from a site and I just am scared to try it.
Just do it. Look at it this way, try it, if you are not enjoying it, put it away somewhere , then pull it out again and try again. I do this all the time with projects, sometimes I never end up finishing them because I was not enjoying it but sometimes I surprise myself and do something I never thought I could. As long as I am patient with myself and realize it may take several times of walking away for a while and then going back to it, I find I can do things that I thought were too challegeing. 😊❤️
Soo i take it you're using the Respun? Let me know what you think. I have some and not used it yet.
yes I am. I ike the yarn. It works up nice. Unfortunately I ran out and I still have the sleeves and all the trim work to do...We shall see what I do.
